The limit does not exist... couldn't help myself haha

but seriously I always liked math more than english but that probably has to do with my high school's math department being way better than the english department.

Last year my PreCalc teacher played this clip on the first day of limits.

In my school, the math and science rooms all have SmartBoards and the English and Social Studies rooms have chalkboards and projectors.

my Calc class had a 2:1 girl to guy ratio and that quote is all I heard during that chapter haha and we had SmartBoards in each class but most of the English teachers didn't even teach much english but rather literature 24/7. The teacher I had junior year was brutal, we were discussing Hemingway's "Hills like White Elephants" and she basically denied that the story was talking about how the woman didn't want to be pregnant meanwhile it has been well documented that it is talking about such:laugh:

A Verizon phone? My GS3 was locked initially, but someone developed a unlocker for it.

Only a matter of time.

Yeah. I'm on the Galaxy S4. The bootloader has been locked since July. They have created an application called Safestrap, where you can allocate a 1-3 GB partition and dual boot certain ROMS with stock android. The selection of ROMS are severely limited. I flashed two or three for a while and eventually stopped and stuck with my modified Android.

I'll just have to be happy with root lol.
 
Watching Mighty Ducks 3. They are a really hard group of kids to root for. Charlie Conway is so unlikable with no hockey sense, haha
 
I really enjoyed episode 6 of True Detective, which wrapped a nice bow on Act II. And standout performances, IMO, from Michelle Monaghan and Jay Sanders. Thoughts below in white to avoid spoiling anything for those who haven't watched yet.


Last week, Nic Pizzolatto tweeted a link to this article, which expounded the idea that True Detective is first and foremost a character drama. Pizzolatto called it "sensible advice". At this point, I'm not expecting any major twists. Occam's razor applies. On to the episode itself, which was full of character development.

It finally happened. And I was kind of hoping it wasn't going to. Maggie and Rust hook up. The way the show executed it though was totally spectacular. Time is indeed a flat circle for Marty, who can't change his stripes and continues to make the same mistakes over and over again. But this episode gave Maggie's character a tremendous amount of depth. Great performance by Monaghan. Completely selfish move using a vulnerable Rust to break up her marriage. And Rust's immediate response was awesome. Crazy good scene.

The fight itself was awesome too. What a tackle. You could tell Rust was pulling his punches, taking a deserved beating like a man. Did you notice the tail light on Rust's pickup is still broken in 2012? Symbolism? Maybe it means Rust is still affected by the fallout in between him and Marty, or that maybe he's just been too occupied the past 10 years doing something else...

I think it's a foregone conclusion at this point that Billy Lee Tuttle (notice the yellow tie he was wearing?) was a big part of the murders and kidnaps that had taken place from 1995 to 2010, that others in the secret cult have continued its legacy in 2012, and that there was (and still is) a serious cover up going on. Even Marty was surprised by how quickly Rust was suspended by Major Salter. Commander Speece was giving him the evil eye the entire meeting. Speece was the officer in blue standing next to Billy Lee Tuttle in Episode 1. I think Speece was playing a big part in the cover up. I can't tell if the two 2012 investigators are also part of the cover up, or just exhibiting some garden variety incompetence to the job.

In the next episode, which takes place in 2012, Rust is going to show some evidence to Marty that's going to get him on board for some vigilante justice. Whether it's a picture of his daughter, a picture of his father-in-law, or a picture of abused kids in general (children appear to be both Rust and Marty's soft spot), Marty is getting on board and they're going to close this case for good this time.
