Cranking the Rocky 4 OST at work today. Olympics got me in the spirit.

Not on that album, but "Going the Distance" is a must for any workout mix. Better than Eye of the Tiger.

I am only like halfway through the first season. Just got Netflix back a few weeks ago. It's definitely one of my favorite shows, now. I'm a politics nerd, so it's perfect. Spacey is brilliant....totally perfect for this role.

And he gets to use his "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" accent, again.

Watch the British version. I'm assuming what happens at the end of the 1st season on that one just happened ep1 of season 2. I'm only 6 episodes into HOC season 1 w/ Spacey.

Hard to get into it sometimes.
 
My brother's high school hockey team just beat West Milford 4-2 in their league playoffs. :yo:

I had more free time in HS, that's probably the main reason. Hang out with people after school, go to places on the weekends. These days, I go to class, and just go home when I'm done. I think I made a mistake not living on the campus from the beginning.

Where do you live (don't worry, I moved back east after I graduated this past summer, I won't stalk you) like Table Mesa area?

Or another town outside of Boulder?

I lived on 13th and Euclid in the same house for 3 years. The Hill was great, but I agree it gets a little out of hand sometimes.

And yeah, every freshman should rough it in the dorms. It's social suicide to not do that (maybe not as much at a big school like CU though).

not that collge freshman are the most mature people on the planet...but theres a considerable amount of change between the ages of 18 and 22.

The math and science education I got in highschool was great...wouldn't have stood a chance in my Engineering Undergrad without it.

Science was a huge one for me. My teacher was very good and had him in 11th and 12th grade. But a lot of my classes were really just going as fast as the slowest kid (They pushed people through even though they literally couldn't progress in advanced courses.). Asd a college freshman I was 17. I'm in the 2nd semester of my 2nd year now, and I'm 19. I'll hopefully be done with 4 years before I'm 22. The maturity thing I'll agree on, but I think everyone is different and the people who acted right earlier either keep it up or get consumed with all the partying etc... Not all cases but just a lot of what I've seen. If I had to say so I'm still well disciplined and did a complete 180 from getting a 2.5 GPA, to finishing last semester on the Dean's list(Got 3.5 last semester!!!) and having a 3.0 now going into this semester.. My German professors and my Biopsych profs are among the best teachers/instructors/etc I've had/spoken with.
