Going to see how the roads are in the morning to determine if I should drive to work or not.

it really sucks having a snow day as a commuter. Don't have all my friends to bs with in walking distance. Im hopefully going to get the chance to dorm next year and beyond though

Hated dorming but like the idea of staying on campus late at UB. Has a different feel, something I like about it.

Snow rocks.

I only go to school for this TBH :sarcasm:

My friend is on the hockey team there. Visited last year. ****ing awesome time. It's like top 3 party school, how did you rank HS over Boulder?

We have a hockey team? I honestly had no clue  We were ranked #1 party school by Playboy couple years ago. I'm not a big party person though, don't drink, smoke, etc. I have to drive to Boulder if I wanted to party anyways, but I'm too lazy to that + gas money.

I had more free time in HS, that's probably the main reason. Hang out with people after school, go to places on the weekends. These days, I go to class, and just go home when I'm done. I think I made a mistake not living on the campus from the beginning.

High school kinda sucked. It was easy, but it was a real pain in the ass going in at that ass-crack of dawn and being there all day every day. My high school experience was completely neutral, and I haven't thought about it once since the day I graduated. I could have had more fun, but nothing ****** happened, and I got into my first choice college, so...**** it.

Skaters World University?

High school was and is a babysitting service. Nothing valuable learned in there besides my economic classes that I'm carrying into uni and the start of my psych interest. Love college and while more work it's focused and I don't mind it. Also got into my first choice

Eh.

Up until this year, my AP Gov teacher taught me more than any college professor and we still correspond with each other to this day. She's absolutely intelligent enough to be a college professor and brought that with her to the high school level, which I think is an incredibly admirable thing.

There's babysitting in high school, absolutely, but there's plenty of ******** in college.

Anyone else stranded becuase of this storm?

Stuck in Minneapolis, sitting on hold with United .... again

a considerable amount the difference between college and highschool learning atomospheres is the maturity of the student

not that collge freshman are the most mature people on the planet...but theres a considerable amount of change between the ages of 18 and 22.

The math and science education I got in highschool was great...wouldn't have stood a chance in my Engineering Undergrad without it.

I think you get what you put into it. The only thing I learned in high school that I still use is literature.
