Haven't seen the Star Wars since I was a kid, so I am going back and watching them. (the real ones)

I can't imagine a movie coming out nowadays and expecting you to read like 2 paragraphs of text as a setup for the story.

Not a complaint, but could imagine if like... I dunno Inception would have started with a more or less black screen a couple of paragraphs to bring you up to speed rather then just working it into the story? Just no chance that flies nowadays.

I just wish they would release the OT on Blu-ray untouched. Instead we have the versions that Lucas ****ed around with decades later.

People are going ape **** at that Chino Hills 7-11. Why? Just to be on TV?!? They are also worshiping that clerk even though he only assumes he's the one who sold it. LOL, I don't understand people sometimes.

It is pretty comedy. They are worshiping the clerk, touching him like he is a lucky God.

Now this is ****ing amazing. A bunch of restaurant workers in NJ celebrated for 20 minutes thinking they won. They were quitting on the spot and going nuts. Only then did they find out the dude who read the numbers off of his phone read the winning numbers from Saturday. Classic Jersey.

There is a video in the link. Garbage quality though.

That is absolute gold. One would think to verify before announcing to all his co-workers the incorrect numbers. I can't even imagine the dirty looks that guy got from his co-workers for the remainder of the shift!

Strangest thing I've ever seen. Why in God's name would you give a **** about the clerk who sold the winning ticket?

"Hey honey, I'm going to jump in the car in the middle of the night and go stand outside the ****ing 7-11! Do you still love me?"

LOL what the **** man. People are stone-cold crazy.

If anything, the clerk should be going crazy. He's gonna make a ton of money - both off of selling the ticket and the residual business.

Seriously. The celebrity obsessed culture we have in America boggles my mind. I will never understand it. Never. "Yo, dis dood famous now. Quick take my pic with him so I can trow it up on da Twitter and get mad followers!"

He doesn't own the store though, so unless the owner is cool, the store doing well won't effect him at all. Again though, it's not even confirmed that he sold the winning ticket. He just thinks it could be him.

You really need to read the book: 'the end of literacy and the triumph of spectacle'.

We are groomed in a culture that has two parts: one that can cope with the complexity of life and difficult choices. The second group are those who fade from reality and place their beliefs in illusions of false distractions, pornography, and conspiracy theories.

Highly recommended for you all.

Love it when a film production company does contraindicative advertising. These guys are brilliant...they are garnering publicity for a film through their advertising techniques where they might not get the publicity otherwise. I know I'm hooked, and I would never have been in the first place, so the ads worked on me.

To quote from the article linked below:

Looks like a romantic comedy, not the violent superhero movie it is. In fact, the film was just given its official rating: an R for “strong violence and language throughout, sexual content and graphic nudity.â€
