Joke's on him though. He has to stare at this interior every day...

I had a Jeep rental when I went to Florida. Holy crap what an uncomfortable vehicle to sit in, let alone drive.

Sounds like a lot of you guys are unhappy with the censorship on HF. Meh, I guess it's a bit rigid. But then again, it's because of this conservative forum that I've became a better person (or in the process of it), so, it's tough to argue. Don't get me wrong, I miss flaming a poster like I often did in the past, but I definitely don't miss all the drama and the infractions that followed.

This may come across a bit corny, but I want to share a quote with you guys that's helped me, and perhaps, it may help you. I believe it was from the late Dr Wayne Dyer: "When you have the choice to be right, or to be kind, choose kind". Yeah, corny, right? As corny as it may sound, it's helped me quite a bit, and not a day goes by without me thinking about this quote. I hope some of you guys can gain something from it as well.

Peace Brothers. :)

Last infraction I got I said a curse word when talking about the ducks on the main board.
it slipped through the filter, though that wasn't my intent.

When I talked to the mod about it, I asked if it really called for an infraction.
He said no, but he was giving me one anyways.

Interestingly enough, looking at his posting history he was a ducks fan.

First one was about Stoll. AFTER he admitted to having cocain, I said it was surprising that he would be the one to hold it. This was written up as libel... I restated a fact that a person had already admitted to.

Then all the posts that just disappear...
Anyways....

Actually kinda cool... Apparently this company has already gotten 60K pre orders...

Which kinda makes me think, I wonder if they are going to have to start programming these things to avoid each other?

sounds like they are just under $600, and as they catch on I would imagine the skys over popular snow board runs may start seeing more then one of them. Will be interesting when the drones start crashing into each other.

I've been thinking about buying a drone. I'll probably wait another year or so though.

Its very cool, and very unnecessary. Worrisome to think that a least a few of your neighbors will have toy flying cameras zipping around the neighborhood in a handful of years.

Would be cool to have one to fly around out of site while you can follow it on your TV.

This is the most ridiculous thing on this website. If you're clearly a fan of just one team (e.g. name is related to team) you should not be able to be a global mod or main board mod. This is common sense. How the hell does someone **** this up?

I've had so many posts disappear while arguing on the main board while other posts that were way worse got to stay. Not that I really care though.

I'm still waiting for Amazon to start delivering packages by drone like everyone says... So I can start throwing rocks to win mystery grab bags.

WTF she sounded like Tracy Morgan.

Sounded like she ate Tracy Morgan

I want a millennium falcon drone

I want one that looks like a hot air balloon. People will just think it's a balloon that's far away.

If you are clearly a fan of one team, you shouldn't be allowed to moderate a post that is at all linked to that team. For example, if I were to say something negative about the Sharks, any mod that is a Sharks fan shouldn't be able to deal with it. And each mod has a team they follow, they should have to declare a conflict.

Sad thing is if the powers that be in the real world treated mods the way some treat posters around here, they'd be freaking out.

And I say this with a grain of salt. Most mods are actually pretty good, especially the mods in the Kings forum. They are pretty good to talk to and will often explain themselves and talk to you about any issue that may arise. The real issue is the flyby infractions that come from a mod who knows **** all about you or the back story that may be going on. I received an infraction once for calling another poster a name, but the person I called a name was actually a friend and we had been doing that back and forth for a months. It was some other poster who reported it and some random mod got it and slapped me with an infraction.

It was repealed after everything was looked into, but if a mod here had been asked to review it, it never would have been an issue to begin with.

This is just a internet forum. It has no effect on your real life, so don't let how it's run get to you too much.

In your real life you make 6 posts here a day. Its part of real life... On the other side are actual people just as much as those you interact with at the grocery store, gas station or a bar.

I get you point, but its not like this is fiction.

And on the not real life theme... Where else to take issue with the virtual world but in the virtual world?

Yeah but people behave way differently on the internet than they do in the real world. People here go out of their way to antagonize and get you upset. Maybe it's just me then, but I don't consider this part of my real life. What happens here stays here. It has zero effect on anything else I do on a daily basis. People go out of their way to troll on this forum and if you don't let it get to you, they will never win. That's all I'm trying to get at.

Sadly we have no say in how this forum is run. I'm sure these posts will be deleted soon like they always are. :/

Someone trolling is one thing. That stuff should be deleted, but why not just ban the troller after a few times pulling that stuff? Instead, the same poster can do his bit for years and, infractions or not, he/she keeps doing it for years. We just had another round of PM's from our usual Coyotes fan that targets anyone that frequents the Kings forum, sending out insults. You tell a mod and they 'deal' with it, but heck if I know what that means. Dude is still sending the PM's for years so I doubt its much of anything.

Get rid of trollers, but we all know the crackdown on posting goes well beyond that. As you said, these posts could be deleted soon and for what? Because we are talking about a gripe we have with the site? Imagine if 'real life' was handled like that.

Kindness gets your ass kicked. Trust me on that one. People don't stop until you make em either. Hell, people won't even apologize.
