Yes, mod approved. We've done it once, let's do it again (no Lonnie, not that).

We've had a nice retro vibe to the place lately, so I wanted to bring back the beer thread.

Simply put, what are you drinking these days?

I've got three in the fridge:

Long Trail Coffee Stout. I've had this one many times, but it's starting to become too malty for me.

Speedway Porter - by Alesmith. Thing comes in a big bottle, saving this one for when the boys come over and there's something to toast to. :stanley:

Fore Smoked Stout - by Dark Horse Brewing. I've been nursing this four-pack for awhile, it isn't tickling my fancy.

What are you putting down?

Nothing. Told myself once the last of the captain private stock was gone, I was done with the stuff until the wedding in September.

Trying to get a six pack (abs, not beer)

Kept one nip in case of emergency.

Im not usually a beer drinker but I just got back from a restaurant and tried wachusett green monsta ipa

Not really a fan of IPA in general but I thought it was pretty delicious.

have one of these left:

Got these guys chilling in the fridge, brought back from Ireland (although they're Scottish):

Had the He'Brew Pomegranate Ale a while ago ... was pretty solid.

I shall have a nice Polish beer called Lech for the game.
Might enjoy a dram of some Scotch later on as well.

When I went to Raleigh last year for a Bruins game we went to a brew pub that had jalapeño beer. I've been obsessed with trying different kinds ever since. I can't recall the name of that brewery but itll come to me.

Also got introduced to Bad Penny by Big Boss Brewing. That stuff is ridiculous.

Went to Publick House in Boston when visiting the girlfriend and tried some really awesome beers I never have seen before. Recommend anyone go see the place, it's voted one of the top beer bars in the country.

On that subject, yardhouse's selection is crazy.

Were you at the Flying Saucer? Love that place.

I was drinking some more expensive beer for me (Creemore Springs, Hoegaarden) however lately I've been trying to get back on my beer expenses, being a struggling student, so I've been drinking Keystone and Maclay's.

Whereabouts in Canada are you? If you're looking for good beer at reasonable price as an alternative to Hoegaarden, see if you can find a unibroue sampler.

I didn't get there....probably the most disappointing part of the trip. I would go back, we had a good time...plus that entire arena smells like BBQ and giant Yuenglings. It's glorious.

I like Sams summer ale on the hot days . Long board island is a good warm weather beer as well. Taste a lot like corona but better IMO. Now we just need some warm weather:nod:.

Oh yeah. I still have a few shipyard apple heads too. Sometimes I go for the American gas, bud light. Cheers everyone!!

They have some really cool local brews out here in St Louis but nothing will ever pull me away from Sam Adams.
