Also, as annoying as it is to get Apple TV fired up, I do like the presentation and the announcers.

Gallegos sees five hitters and strikes out all of them. I know it’s the Pirates, but still that was nasty.

It's nice having a solid Closer in Gallegos and a nasty Set up man in Helsley. Them calling up Liberatore should hopefully put Hicks back in the Bullpin as a late innings guy.

Agree about Gallegos and Helsley. It sure would be nice to have Libertore establish himself as a bonafide consistent starter. Seems like we haven't had a good lefty starter since John Tudor!

As far as Hicks goes, it was stated the decision to stretch him out as a starter was to limit his innings AND to keep him away from the bullpen routine where he would be going 'max effort' warming up and when put into games which they feel would lead to more arm troubles.

That's definitely a good point that I overlooked

Ugly second inning for Liberatore. Needs to settle in and locate or he’s going to be out of this game in a hurry. He’s either throwing a ball or throwing it right down the middle. Only one well located pitch the entire inning.

Not too worried. Only his first game in the big leagues. It's good that he's getting his feet wet. He has a nice breaking pitch tho. Just needs to clean it up.

Gorman looks good but still needs to have better at bats. But, that can be said for all young power hitters.

Holy fate, I loved that movie as a kid. Was scared as hell at some parts, but an excellent movie.

Anyway, I wonder how Pallante is doing in the bullpen this year? I pegged him as a breakout candidate after he threw 99 mph at the Arizona Fall League and had a good year on a bad Springfield squad. And when he made the roster, I was especially excited.

Below 1 ERA in 15 games and 19IP, 1.47WHIP, batters are only hitting .250 off of him.

So, pretty good.

Liberatore the great today. Maybe to many walks, but 5 scoreless innings against Milwaukee is extremely good.

And Woodford give the Brewers a HR.

A #2 hitter should always be left-handed imo. The advantages are real, especially with how shift-happy so many defenses are now.
