The fact that O'Neill still doesn't have a contract for this year should explain everything about the Cards Ownership and Management group, especially when STL is a Baseball city to it's core. Stillman and Army are far and away the best Ownership/Management group in STLm
If we actually learned what mega-rich billionaire owners think and what are their motives, then we would probably have a meltdown.

DeJong looks so much more comfortable at bat this season. He's not flinching at pitches anymore either.

Matz is also looking a ton better this game than last as well.

DeJong is batting .143. In fact, half of the Cards lineup is not hitting well. They have only 3 or 4 guys batting well.

Gorman has a nice hitting streak in AAA and has 8 homers, unfortunately he has 20 strikeouts in 15 games. If he keeps the power up and can clean up the Ks, I imagine we'll see him at some point. He's always been someone that's going to strikeout a lot though.

And in the most surprising news of the season, the Cardinals resident Fireball Wizard just got pulled from the game with an injury.

We need a closer, a starter and a DH to be a serious contender.

Is your team struggling to score runs? Just face Steven Matz and all of your problems will be solved.

I just had this conversation

Coworker "OMFG the Cards are idiots, why won't they just call up Gorman already he's killing it"

Me "Have you looked at his K%? He'd be eaten alive against MLB pitchers, we're better with Donavan and Yepez until he learns to take better at bats"

C " oh it can't be that bad"

M "out of 140ish ABs he's struck out 50 times"

C "oh.... maybe it is that bad"

Gorman is called up right after the last post.... Maybe I should start talking about O'Neill and his absolutely horrid start of the season as well.
