In other news, I was supposed to go hang out with a friend last night. Obviously the weather put the kibosh on that. But aside from that, she then told me how the dad of her kids kicked the shit out of her last weekend after she came here. She showed me the pictures of the bruises and bite marks that he did to her. The reason? She showed up 10 minutes early to pick the kids up. And to make it even worse, he did it in front of their son on the kids 10th birthday.

It’s not the first person that’s told me this month about a bf or ex-bf doing that. Understandably they don’t want the cops involved, but what I don’t get is that I’m not allowed to do anything. I have people that owe me favours, and would have no problem taking a tire iron to these douchecanoes, but I’m not allowed to, as per the ladies’ request. So all I can do is just be there for them, even though I’m absolutely disgusted by these boys (because we can all admit they’re not men).

That’s cool. I had an uncle who was married six different times. Number Four and Number Six were the same woman who he then spent the rest of his days with. Life is odd.

I had a long time work friend reach out for some advice as he and his Mrs are separating. I was saddened but it sounded like they are working together to make it end constructively, particularly for their son.

Heh, my mom and step-dad were high school sweet hearts. They had two kids by the age of 21. Broke up after a couple year. My mom met my dad, and had me. They got divorced. She dated around, then ended up with my step-dad again. They broke up again after 5 years. She was with some dork for damn near a decade, then they broke up.

5 or years after that, she and my step dad had a few grandkids, and it brought them back together again. Theyve been with eachother for 15 years now, and will likely be eachothers first and last love.
