Are these normal in the US? Because they’re way better than they have any right to be.

Since we're talking snacks: As a seven year old I bought a peach clearly canadian from a small store on an island in the baltic sea. Sometimes I thought it was a dream it but it turns out the drink is very real. Are they easy to buy in north america? Will I have to cross the border when visting Buffalo to get one?
The taste I remember is like something elven out of lord of the rings.

They no longer sell those here. I mean they might at a larger grocery store, but I haven’t seen that since I was in high school.

So it’s been interesting on this job. We were averaging 4 windows and frames replaced a day, and kinda just left it alone. The hospital maintenance guy had no idea how to trim out the windows, so I picked up that job. And because it’s an extra job I picked up, I’m get to charge the company I work for extra and they have no choice in the matter.

As well, I have a chance to pick up doing renovations on their homes for people who are working at the hospital. I mean I want to take them, but seeing I’m currently 700km from home, I also don’t. Because I don’t want to move here. Especially with the jobs I still have to do back in my hometown (two kitchen renos, two bathroom renos, an apartment lobby reno, and an apartment building attic re-line).

But one of my friends moved here for work years ago, and we went out to the bar last Friday night. It was a pretty quiet night, so we just played pool with a couple of girls that he knows that was there. One of them was the bartender, and she ended up buying me a bunch of shots and came home with me. Yesterday I ran into her running to a hardware store and she asked me when I’m taking her back home again.

And I was exploring the hospital, seeing I was given full security clearance to see what window frame from the outside is where. Tomorrow we get to be changing the window and frames in the oxygen therapy room (and can’t use power tools because of the risk of explosion) and change windows in the biohazard and infectious diseases room.
