So, I had a fun phone call with Nate yesterday.

He said that he and his roommates are getting kicked out of the house they are renting at college.

I immediately thought they had done something to tick off the landlord as he is anal about stuff. It turns out that they haven't had water in almost a week and the landlord may need to have serious work done to get the well working again.

So, I am waiting to hear when Nate needs me to show up, co-sign for a new place since he's under 21yo, and help him move...

We downsized from a three to a two bedroom in May, figured we would pay less for water (I less person most of the time) and electric (significantly less space to cool). Well... the unit we are in has no individual meter for the water so the complex bills us for the water and sewer fees and they are significantly more than the three-bedroom. AND the electric use is higher. There has been no savings there, we're paying more total.

Hope they sort out the issues there - no water is terrible to deal with, from personal experience due to storms.

I am sure it will smell great when I get there.
