Speculation is fine. It is when a person says this is the trade…. That is what they don’t’ want unless it is referenced by a vetted insider.

For example, if I were to say Pinelli has been traded to Barrie for Vaughn and I don’t have a reference from a trusted source, it is against the rules. I could say, “Sounds like Pinelli may be on his way to Barrie. You have to assume if it is true that PArker Vaughn would be the centrepiece of the return.”

You're right, speculation is okay but if you know of one and aren't a vetted insider and post it on here, no Bueno.

I think OMG can back me up when I say I’ve cracked many trades & signings does that not make me an insider lol

Nope. It doesn’t. You’d need to apply in some way to HF Boards and be endorsed however that works! LOL.

I’ve seen a guy that broke a trade, got banned for a month and 2 hours later the trade was announced! Hahahaha.

If you want to break a trade, you need to be savvy about it and keep it as speculation.

If there is a trade coming, I’m assuming it involves Graham since he was scratched today. Probably just some picks in return
 
If I were to speculate a pending trade tomorrow, I could see it involving North Bay. either Graham or McDonnell could likely be out the door. Perhaps a draft picks with them if Oshawa is looking to upgrade.

North Bay's available players could be a Therrien or Kennedy but Therrien has a separated Shoulder so that may knock hom off the shopping list.

Sounds like some solid speculation! This makes sense.
 
fun day for gens to announce a trade nothing better but it’s only me guessing no concrete information 😉

Roobroeck is is listed as a General and will be till January 9th when teams have to be down to 3 Oa's, if the Generals release Roobroeck any other team could take a flyer on him and it wouldn't cost you anything, it would look bad Mr Hunt.

Remember 2006-2007. Oshawa dropped Peter tsimikalis off the roster. Kitchener picked him up shortly after. That hurt big time.

I keep reading Oshawa is acquiring WK from NB ? Why? he is not an upgrade at all I’ve seen him play many times. If you are considered a contender this is a major problem shouldn’t even be in the top 7 of a contender. If this is your depth moves there is issues he has one thing going for him and that’s that he is big,

If you can't see he's big improvement on Rodriguez and McDonnell then I don't think there's much conversation to be had here.

There's also nothing to confirm it's Wyatt Kennedy other than based on who Oshawa is potentially sending back, it appears to be the right return.

Not every trade has to be a home run.

From someone who admittedly was unsure of the Sandhu trade last season, I agree 100%. Not the flashiest name out there, but a definite upgrade on those names above. Would likely be back for an OA season too.

I also don’t take the word of AGranderson CHL scout extraordinaire re: WK. Based on other rumours out there he will not be looked upon as a top pairing D. Sandhu turned out pretty good for the gens. Change of scenery different systems etc etc are all factors for these kids. And as mentioned above. Not every trade is a home run.
