What a game for Beckett Sennecke, just as I expected.

I’m surprised so many Peterborough fans travelled to see this debacle, because it was about as lopsided of a thrashing as you’ll see. It’s like Oshawa was playing a minor bantam team.

I really don’t see Peterborough holding off Barrie for the final playoff spot.

It will come down to Ottawa and Oshawa for the division. Crossing fingers that newly acquired Kressler isn’t out long term with a concussion.

I really like the construction of the Gens right now. Still a little young but the elements are there for sure. Decent size that can skate too. They’ll be good down the stretch but will be great next year.

I may have sort of given up on next year too easily. Missy will be extremely strong and will have the picks to make moves. I think Misa ends up there at the deadline. But, that said, I don’t think we can sleep on Oshawa. If the right players return, it will be a great fight between Oshawa and Missy next year. Kingston and Brantford will be around as well.

I think the Conference will be top heavy next year.
I know this is a bold prediction but I predict the Petes will finish last in the division 👀

I have never seen a team in JR hockey turtle as much as the Oshawa Generals doo.,.

I’d prefer them to drop the gloves, but if you’re not going to fight at least sucker the opposition into getting suspended.

Unbelievable that in the past week, Oshawa has had three different teams get a player suspended four games. Fantastic job of getting into people’s head by the Generals.

Have them try to do that to Roobroeck, Punnett or even Kumpulainen and I guarantee they won't Turtle, but jump players that generally don't fight, Skalba4: you won the fight though

Roobroeck seems like a big p***y to be honest, usually goes after the smallest guy on the ice. I guess it’s better than the turtle shit you guys are known for now though!
Embarrassing

Roobroeck definitely doesn’t target tiny players.

Last week against Kingston little Chris Thibideau - - who’s about 5’7” and 140lbs - - tried to body him. Not only did Roobroeck not react, I’m not even sure he even felt the hit. Clearly Roobroeck could snap Thibodeau in half, but to his credit he didn’t go after the hopelessly undersized opponent.

You know Oshawa is playing great hockey with this board gets more traction and the boo birds come out.

Horrible 40mins of hockey by Oshawa so far. Sloppy giveaways and careless penalties. Jake Oster has been Oshawa’s best player and has really kept them in the game.

Brutal defensive breakdown by Windsor in the last minute with Roobroeck and Buckley combining for a beautiful goal.

Delisle had a really nice short side snipe to open the scoring but other than that Oshawa has been sleepwalking through the first two periods.

Oshawa with a pure dominating performance from start to finish. This team his hitting on all cylinder!

Another opponent gets the aggressor Penalty and as a result, another 4 game suspension coming.

Bring on the Erie Otters!

1. Were you guys watching the same game?

2. 4 turtles in 5 games? What a bunch of 😿. Be shocked if a team with that make up advances past round one.

I cant see your second quote so I can only assume you are talking and that D character who claims to be a Generals fan.

also....who Turtled? Punnett? He got rocked hard on a punch then gave up, left for the game never return. Is losing a fight and getting injured in the fight called turtling or just conceding the L?

"turtled" or eye gouged. You be the judge

it's a good thing playoff games aren't decided by shootout for Oshawa's sake. Definitely not our strong suit

Questions? Many of you follow the Gens more closely than I. Looking for info on Haoxi Wang, from the 2023 Draft and Vasily Serov, 2023, as well. Both are huge. Where are they playing this year and how are they performing?> Any insights at all? Appreciate you.

Wang is playing in the OJHL this year as he has committed to NCAA starting next season.
