He's calmed down now. He wants to know if Wickenheiser is performing the surgery he said if so then we're in good hands!

We have to protect our assets. Wait till he is fully recovered at 32 Ror has enoughbexp in reg season means nothing games.
 
Any official word?

Boy that Saturday could have been a complete disaster. ROR potential broken hand, Matthews leaving after taking the puck to the knee. Tavares getting destroyed and being saved by Kuzmenkos leg from maybe slamming his head on the ice.

Nothing a tape job wont fix. I broke and dislocated fingers and was back playing in the same game with a stint and fingers/hand taped. Hurt like a son of a bitch but the price you pay to play. (Football BTW)

Insane he cut his finger off midgame to get back into the game.

Makes a big difference when the sport doesn't require you to hold and clutch a stick in your hand.

It wasn't mid-game.

It was during the off-season. He had the option of either amputating the tip of his finger and starting the season on time or getting a bone graft and missing the start of the 1986 season. He opted for the amputation and led the league in interceptions that year en route to being a 1st team All-Star.

Holmberg and Steeves recalled so obviously ROR out for a bit. Practice starts in about 30 minutes.
Couldn't get twitter stuff to load for some reason but that was reported by Mark masters and David alter.
 
There is a picture of someone getting off a plane with his index finger wrapped, the poster claims its ROR. :) Fake? Real? You be the judge. Kinda looks photoshopped IMO, comes from @ovie08 twitter account.

Matthews has been flirting with injuries in and off for the last season and a half. Rielly missed some time as well. Murray is well…Murray. Then we have the seemingly career ending injury for Jake Muzzin who despite slipping in recent years was a major addition to our blue line. It’s not like we were healthy.

Reality is that we dealt for a player coming back from an injury that had been suffering playwise this season for reasons many attributed to injuries.

The real story is actually he had it amputated after week 17 and played thecnext game in the playoffs.

LOL I draw the line at amputation. Fingers are not a big deal TBH, I didn't have the ability to get cortisone shots but before each playoff game, ROR gets a needle in his finger and problem solved. Guarantee TB is going to be chopping at ROR hand every shift.
