Leafs have been pretty fortunate with injuries over the past few seasons. Hopefully this is minor

Aren’t we at the top for man games missed this season? We’ve lost Muzzin, arguably are most important d-man for … forever. Brodie was hurt, Rielly was hurt, Matthews has been perpetually hurt for like 3 seasons now, JT was knocked out of the playoffs in the first game a couple years ago. Bunting was hurt last playoffs. Murray been out I dunno how many games this year. Foligno got hurt the second we traded for him.

This team is cursed.

2019 Hyman played injured against Boston

2020 Muzzin was knocked out in Game 2 against Columbus and missed the rest of the series

2021 JT game 1, Muzzin Game 6, Foligno had a broken back

2022 Bunting was playing hurt.

Reilly 82

The previous year they missed a total of like 10 games. I would say it’s pretty fortunate. Muzzin was unfortunate.

It’s the hope that kills you as a Leafs fan. If I already knew the team sucked like Arizona fans, I can live with it. The Leafs give you enough hope to watch/support then they just rip it all away and lose in the most embarrassing fashion, it’s a skill really.

Not sure you can play with a broken index finger if that's what it is. Index finger is critical for both hands. Sigh.

Broken fingers is a far better outcome than the whole hand. Bullet dodged if that’s the case.

Yes but still, what is that, 6 weeks? How do you grip a stick with a broken index finger? At least it won't keep him from skating and staying in shape. Might even be able to practice in a limited way in 2 or 3 weeks.

Rest RoR. Rest Matthews. Bring up some kids and get ready for April 15th. Tampa lost again yesterday. We have 19 games left. We are 19 pts behind Boston. We are 18 pts up on Buffalo. We are 5 pts up on Tampa.

Let’s just get healthy. Maybe we give up the 2.5 games to Tampa, maybe we don’t. In the end we are taking them in six anyways.
