Minnesota has a bunch of center-able players. Do they need to make room higher up the chart for Ericksson-Ek? Koivu gas a year left. Grandlund is their top guy. Staal and Coyle in the mix.

They are suddenly light on d.

Reinhart, Galchenyuk and JT miller all have the same kind of question mark regarding center.

I think Miller is a better option long-term than Reinhart and everyone knows how I feel about Miller. I just don't see the appeal in Reinhart

Not saying all of these are super good choices, i don't even like for example Bjugstad, but he might come dirt cheap and has upside. I think Gorton should examine these players price.

Barkov/Trocheck/Bjugstad are all signed for a while, but could a wing (or 2) + a D-Man prospect tempt them?

I figure they'd be least willing to deal Barkov, most willing to deal Bjugstad, which makes me lean towards Trocheck.

Ehm, i'd easily trade JTM for Trocheck, that's not a lateral move at all. Trocheck is better and he's a proper C.
