#Habs practice lines: Bourque - Plekanec - Prust Pacioretty - Desharnais - Brière Galchenyuk - Eller - Gallagher Moen - White - Blunden

This is probably what we will see. Gionta when back will replace Prust and Prust to take Blunden's spot.

I have absolutely no confidence in a Pacioretty-Desharnais-Briere line... yuck!!
That line is scary, I agree I don't like that line at all. All 3 will try to play on the perimeter. No way that line will last.

I'd be surprised to see Parros and Murray scratched for the first game of the year against the leafs. If they're healthy, they're in. Sounds like Gio might not be ready for the first game so... I think it'll be:

Bourque-Plekanec-Prust
Galchenyuk-Eller-Gallagher
Pacioretty-Desharnais-Briere
Moen-White-Parros

Gorges-Subban
Markov-Bouillon
Tinordi-Murray

What we will see:

Pacioretty - Desharnais - Briere
Bourque - Plekanec - Gionta
Gallagher - Eller - Galchenyuk
Prust - White - Moen

Subban - Gorges
Markov - Diaz
Bouillon - Murray

What I would start with:

Pacioretty - Eller - Bourque
Briere - Galchenyuk - Gallagher
Bournival - Plekanec - Gionta
Moen - Prust - Parros/Fournier/White

Subban - Tinordi
Markov - Gorges
Pateryn - Murray
Bouillon

That 2nd line would have trouble defensively.

Subban and Pateryn are RD.
Murray and Tinordi are LD.

I dont think Tinordi is ready to play against 1st-2nd line player like Subban. (20+ minutes too)

So Desharnais and Diaz are out of the lineup...

You mean offensively right? Cuz that line is our best two-ways/defensive line.

Edit: Oh, I guess you're talking about the 2nd line up. My bad.

What we should see:
Pacioretty-Briere-Gallagher
Bourque-Plekanec-Gionta or Collberg/Thomas
Galchenyuk-Eller-Prust
Moen-Bournival-White
Dumont

Markov-Emelin (Tinordi til Emelin is back)
Subban-Gorges
Diaz-Murray
Drewiske

Price
Budaj

What we will see is something with DD on the top line with Patches/Briere and Bouillon playing top line PP, PK and being the defensive presence for Markov...

Barring an injury to someone, no way Tinordi starts the season in Montreal. If they are all healthy it will be: Subban-Markov-Gorges-Diaz-Murray-Bouillon

Man, i don't know what the thinking was with the Briere signing. DD needs big wingers. Moving his line to the third spot and placing Prust on the right wing or getting Morrow and slotting him to the right of DD appears to be a better move than getting Briere.

And I say that not because I dislike Daniel but because DD with Briere is just a disaster waiting to happen.

Bourque Pleks Gionta
Gally Eller Gally
Patches DD Prust
Moen Dumont/Bournival White

Instead We're smaller today than when the ghost haunted the Bell Center.

Bourque Pleks Gionta
Gally Eller Gally
Patches DD Briere
Moen White Prust

Looks like another excellent run during the regular season and a quick bloody exit in the playoffs. This team is just not built for the playoffs.

Habs were man handled by the leafs last year !! If MT does not have Parros and Murray in the line up, he needs his head examined !! first game of the season vs. a divisional rival !! CAN NOT be run out of there own barn on game 1, it will set the tone for there divisional games vs. TO all year !!
