Another season opener, another deployment. Luckily, AFN is carrying the game. Alarm set for 0330, Blackhawks t-shirt and some track pants set out, coffee will be on and I'll have the whole MWR to myself with a seat in front of the big screen. I have a feeling the rest of the camp will be awoken by my cheering by 0426 local.

Yesss!!! Can't wait for the season to get under way. Timewise it's a perfect start for me here in Switzerland (9pm local). Beer food and jersey ready! Go Hawks!!

PS it will be so much better to see Kaner wear the indian head again, instead of that friggin' EHC Biel jersey he wore the last few weeks!

I have no idea what to expect from this game. Nobody has watched either team play in quite some time. Should be interesting.

i can't believe how excited i am waiting for the game. it's kind of frightening
