Part of me wonders if they'd be open to trading him, imagine we bring him back East and he helps us win a Cup before NYR with Igor lmao

Oh man, that’s like softy of the year material. That’s as bad or worse than some of those Samsonov laughers recently.

It's actually crazy they're that average yearly lol, I think the thing that f***ed them in the whole Yzerman regime was not getting the lottery picks and consistently falling. They've actually done pretty well in the draft but they just don't have that game breaker and they're too good to be in the lottery. Shitty situation really but they're in the East so I couldn't care less about them lol

They f***ed worse by Holland than Lou did to us at the end, but I’m not sure what this “Yzerplan” even is.

Some of these UFA signings are hilariously awful.

I’m not sure if the owners said “We want the playoffs. It’s been too long. Get it done!” or if this was all Yzerman.

Red Wings are (probably) gonna win this one.

Remember when the Sharks were the worst team the has seen in the last 5-6 years? Until they won a bunch of games and they all of the sudden weren’t really “That bad”?

Well, guess what? They ARE that bad.

I honestly think they're in the same spot we were with Shero around 18-19 which led to that 19-20 offseason.

Agreed.

I said last year that they’re probably in the same shape we were right in between drafting Nico and Jack. And that they probably shouldn’t be a legit playoff team until about 25-26 or possibly even 26-27. But that they could potentially get in before that and have attainable success like we did in the Hall MVP year. But that it wouldn’t be sustainable.

My 25-26 or 26-27 target was before the weird UFA splurge this past offseason though.

Casey with a wrister from the blue line that almost found daylight. Kokko made the save but didn't know where it was, puck was sitting underneath him in the crease. Ref had a good look and let the play go for a few moments.

USA to the PP now. They opted to start with PP2.

Snuggerud with the Ovechkin-esque blast to get the Americans on the board. Seamus with the primary assist but his play to keep the puck onside earlier in the sequence was huge.
