Throwback Devils night for Calgary scorers tonight lmao

Also anyone who's looking at them for the purposes of Hanifin, he looked really good tonight.
Talk about underperforming this season.

If the standings stay roughly the same till the trade deadline than it is going to be a very unpredictable time. Might be one of the crazier trade deadlines in awhile because there are many bubble teams that are under achieving and will certainly be buyers.

Montreal looks absolutely horrendous.
Ahhh, I remember when they weren’t that bad this year and were possibly a playoff making contender a couple of months ago. Just like how the Ducks “might be good” when they were 9-6 and the Sharks “weren’t that bad” when they had that decent road trip 5 weeks ago.

To be fair, I don’t think Montreal is as bad as this other two teams.

I think before teams like the Flyers and Capitals (and Detroit) really fall off, some of the other teams in the East are gonna bottom out and sink first.

Then again after looking at the standings, Buffalo are already sunk and Ottawa was sunk long ago.

So Montreal is next. Can’t really see them staying at 500 for very much longer.

We just may have gotten reallllyyyyy lucky that we didn't get Slafkovsky, and Montreal took him and we ended up with Nemec instead.

I think Nemec will wind up being the better player of the two. I don't think that's outlandish to say right now.

It may be luckier than Nico over Nolan Patrick, which wasn't really lucky because we actually were able to make that choice having the first overall pick. We weren't able to make that choice in 2022. Someone else made it for us since we had the second overall pick and not the first. And if they took Wright, I think we probably take Slafkovsky.

Slaf smells like another Laf/Kakko, which isn't a bad player or anything, but they wind up not being the best players of the draft.

REALLY rough game for Wallstedt.

Maybe the worst game I've seen a goalie play this year. 5 of the 7 goals were stoppable.

Hank is on TV talking about all the clean shots he got beaten by.

Prime example of a kid getting rocked because he's not used to the speed + how good these guys are. He'll get used to it, it's pretty common for this to happen for young goalies. Plus the Wild are shit

Slaf probably means no Timo and probably those assets used on Helly probably too since Fitz would be more ok with dipping into the prospect pool, if you wanna galaxy brain a little bit lol
