Seeing the oilers win game 6 gets me angry that bernier cost even a shot in 2012. I don’t know night would’ve won that game but to be knocked out of it that early stung.
I do think if given a choice being down 0-3 in a series you want to be the road team for game 5. All you would have to do is win that game and all the pressure goes to the team leading.

Panthers lose and you get a massively depressed Panther’s Team and their fans.
Or
Oilers lose and there will be riots in the streets, McDavid will still be the best loser and Canadians everywhere will cry about “their team” not getting a cup.
I can watch every other leagues playoffs. I struggle with watching the NHL playoffs without the Devils. It’s such a drag..

I'm predicting right now the Panthers win game 7. They go home, take a deep breath, get back to basics, have some fun playing hockey, play defense first, let their chances come naturally out of their defense, get traffic in front of Skinner, shoot pucks into it and get a few bounces or finish a quick chance in front of skinner to get the lead, and then build their lead as the Oilers start to press. A game a bit like our last cup win over Anaheim, only not a one goal game at the end. Panthers 3 - 1 or 4 - 1 finish with an empty netter.
Above all they get back to playing shut down, physical team defense and let that lead. That's what I'm betting on anyway, The Oilers miracle comeback is now over.

I don't know, the Oilers have a ton of momentum and the Panthers look and are playing scared. They've gotten so far away from their game in the last two, I don't know if they can correct that. The crowd will be pumped for sure but all it's going to take is one breakdown or a Bob stinker to take the crowd out of it, after that I think they fall apart.
I do agree if they can find their game again they have a good chance but can they stick with that game plan and be patient in the face of choking away the Cup. I don't think I've ever seen such a momentum swing, the Panthers are completely stun locked.

I do agree same way Edmonton has been using the two days off to their advantage Florida I think will do the same. They really dominated game 5 outside the slow start and you had think once Edmonton won it game 6 would be an impossible win for Florida. I think knowing they are out of chances they just get physical and smash everything on the ice

If Tkachuk just beats the shit out of McDavid and laughs in his face and screams at him that he isn't going to win, the Panthers just might win this.

That was me mocking a youtuber I watch, who has recently dabbled in the world of hockey, probably because he's from South Florida and the Panthers are in the cup finals. I'm assuming some of his big shot buddies have him over to watch the games. He knows very little about it and needs to stick to football or basketball.
He was talking about Michael Jordan vs Clyde Drexler and how Tkachuk needs to be Michael Jordan in this case, but Tkachuk is really closer to Clyde Drexler than Michael Jordan.
Him beating the shit out of McDavid and laughing at him while he's doing it at this point is gonna do nothing but get him taken off the ice for 5 minutes when his team really needs him, or possible even get him tossed from the game

Win win scenario for game 7 for me. As much as I want the season to end to see what the Devils do in the offseason, I know that I'm going to be bored out of my mind in mid July and August dying for any type of sporting event since I'm not the biggest baseball guy lol

It was a serious YouTuber, who is clearly not a hockey fan, but has jumped on the bandwagon with the Panthers in the finals, be it by exposure from friends/coworkers and people he knows or by his own interests.
He’s never talked hockey before this year, though he’s talked football and to a lesser extent basketball. He doesn’t know who Pastrnak or even Connor McDavid are and can’t say Stanley Cup properly.

Let that record reflect that my kids had nothing to do with this.
