I feel like they keep Knight in the minors another year and build his value. With the dearth of goaltending in the league, I feel like someone takes a chance and trades for him.

Not a chance. That would cost them $3M+ on their cap to have him in the minors. They can trade him or buy him out, I guess they will probably trade him but a buyout is not all that bad, it's 750k each season for the next 4 years.

I mean maybe after this Finals run, they can trade Bob, but I can't imagine that move.
