don’t see the fit between the teams.
Chicago is one of the only teams that do have the right pieces. The issue is Anaheim simply won't move him. They would probably debate it though if Chicago offered up this year's 1st (Misa looks that good)Chi don’t have the right pieces to make a mctavish trade appealing.
He’s looking good, biggest issue with him right now is consistency…. He’s shown this year that he is kinda a leader amongst the young players…. And is playing pretty good… still hope his points take a step forward but can say that about a lot of duck players
As far as pieces the hawks have young propsects and picks. Don’t think Anaheim needs more young prospects or picksChicago is one of the only teams that do have the right pieces. Sorry i should say "realistic" right pieces.Chicago is one of the only teams that do have the right pieces. The issue is Anaheim simply won't move him. They would probably debate it though if Chicago offered up this year's 1st (Misa looks that good)
Like what? If the Ducks are moving McTavish it is for immediate forward help, not picks and prospects. Both teams are rebuilding, but the Ducks are trying to exit their rebuild and be in the playoff conversation next season. Does trading McTavish for picks/prospects make any sense for the Ducks?Chicago is one of the only teams that do have the right pieces. The issue is Anaheim simply won't move him. What about Boston, anything? There’s nothing on Chicago I’d trade McTavish for
Prob not,What about Boston, anything?
Yeah obviously not a cap space thing more that philosophy Verbeek and he's clearly not adverse to grinding out negotiations.pV said he prefers bridge deals off rookie contract….
But ya an offer sheet would need to be kinda rediculous for Anaheim not to match with our cap space.
Not even sure what kinda of offer we wouldn’t match, curious what Montreal would even offer … tho I guess the threat of offer sheet maybe forces trade talk /shrug
What about Boston, anything?
Ducks need to improve next season. Outside of Vlasic and Bedard there isn’t anything on the Hawks roster that I’d look for from a Ducks POV. Ana has prospect.don’t see the fit between the teams.
Anaheim need young NHL players that will help them win now and the future. In other words, McTavish. As far as pieces the hawks have young propsects and picks. Don’t think Anaheim needs more young prospects or picks
The longer the season goes, the harder it gets.....55 in 46 is objectively better than 70 in 61 in terms of goals per game.
