I still roll my eyes at all the 'Rangers are lucky' posts...no, they do what you need to do in the playoffs, win ugly, low-scoring games, get contributions from role players, grind teams down.

Florida better have more than that in the coming periods. They looked like a tired team in that period. I dare say a beaten team. They need someone to step up and make a play because if they continue this way there’s no way they are winning this game.

They looked tired by overtime of game 2. And then they used all that energy in game 3 only to lose anyway.

They’re definitely done. It’s just a matter of how many games. Bob will have to steal them a game just to get them to a game 6.

Either that or Igor will need to have a game like he had against us in the regular season late in the 21-22 season, where he got pulled after 5 goals in like 1.5 periods. If anyone remembers that.

Grind teams down? The Rangers routinely get caved in when it comes to possession and shot/chance generation, they spent the last five minutes of regulation in game 3 just icing the puck trying to hold on, how is that "grinding teams down"?

Their special teams and goaltending are elite, nobody can deny that, but they routinely get dogwalked 5-on-5 against really good teams, who then just can't get the job done against Igor.

Honestly, Carolina gave them a harder time than this Florida team.

Florida seems to have went into some mode where they’re trying to win games 2-1 or 1-0 since game 5 against Boston.

They erupted for 4 goals last game, but only because they kind of had to after allowing 4 goals before the end of the 2nd period.

We’re probably at the point where maybe we should be rooting for Dallas to just scalp Edmonton from here on out.

I know exactly what’s gonna happen with Edmonton. Skinner is screw them again. If it’s not in game 4 it’s gonna happen again in game 5 or game 6 when they have a chance to close it out after hypothetically winning games 4 and 5. Which causes a game 7.

If Skinner is gonna screw them it may as well be ASAP. Though I think Edmonton is most likely to beat the Rangers, but with Skinner and the way he keeps happening? Not so sure.

See here's the difference between Igor and Bob.

Bob probably gets scored on by that move by Rodrigues and shot. At least I think there's a decent chance he does.

It probably goes over Bob's right shoulder or just around him on the glove side, where it didn't go around Igor.

And then it's not a bad goal because it was a ''sweet move'' and a ''nice shot'' or ''The guy scored 30 goals this year'' and that pretty much answers why Bob gives up more goals than Igor, even when Igor faces 15 more shots.

I would say there's a high probability that if that happened in the Panthers end just now in front of Bob, that's either another goal or a post hit.

This series is over.

It might not be over tonight (it won't be because it's only 3 wins), it might not be over in game 5 (I think it will be, especially if they win tonight) but it's already over for Florida.

They look tired, nobody can score, their system (Maurice) sucks and its probably too late to run and gun it. And Bob just isn't a very good goalie anymore.

He's more of a comedian than an NHL head coach. I don't know why there's such a boner for this guy in the year 2024. Karmanos doesn't even own a team anymore and he isn't working on a team that Rutherford works for either, so I don't know why the Maurice mystique didn't disappear a long time ago.
