No.

I am just giving a reason why Seattle is more likeable.

Some people like the journey of an expansion team to go from zero to success (moderately at this point) as opposed to one that gained instant success from Day 1.

Calm down. :help:
I am calm :D And I'm also happy for Vegas. They tought they have an open window and went 110% all-in. The rebuild will be painfull when it comes and it will come.

They were given the exact same rules as Vegas. Only they weren’t as smart with asset accumulation (in fairness other teams got smarter as well) and decision making. Last year probably goes better if they keep VV instead of signing Grubauher and trading VV back to the Caps.
oh no doubt.

I'm just saying that some like the fact that Seattle did not have instant success like the Knights did.

They respected the "process", so to speak.

They did a worse job at the Expansion Draft and signed a ton a UFAs and haven’t made any big trades. That’s it?

I doubt any crazy moves come. McPhee was a fearless trader and McCrimmon has done some wild stuff. And Francis is not that kind of guy.

I think Seattle could use another lousy year and high pick since Francis gained very few extra assets by other means. Beniers is a very nice player but there’s a lot great high end talent at the top of this draft. It’s a dog fight for the cellar in the west though and they would really have to work at getting worse to down there lol.

Seattle charges an insane amount for tickets and after Vegas’ instant success that’s probably a tough sell.

They might to have to buy out Grubauer if he find his game, he doesn’t have any signing bonuses so it’s doable.

It’s such a weird team, it has even less star power than Vegas. They’re shooting % is very high but a some of the players they have are snipers so it probably runs a little high (not 13.1% tho).

I could easily see them fall off hard right now, if not just because their goaltending can't be trusted. Jones is now probably well below .900% after last night's game. He was .903% coming into it and it's clear the hot streak is over for him. He's regressing to the mean at this point and now just regressing to the mean but CRASHING hard into it.

I actually think there's a much better chance Grubauer can come in and play as well as Jones was playing for a few weeks there and sustaining it, than there is of Jones getting back to it and sustaining it. If not only because Grubauer is working on just one horrible season right now. It hasn't become a trend yet. It's literally been 5 years since Jones had a save percentage of higher than .900% for a season.

Early returns aren't looking so great, but he's only played 5 games and started 4. He's back from injury now and did play 5 nights ago against Vegas, but I guess they're rolling with Jones because of the hot streak. I'm sure they'll go with Grubauer next game. I had to look up to see if he was dressed as the backup last night or if he got hurt again after his return on the 25th, and he was indeed the backup last night.

Who is the worse Goaltender? Grubauer or Jones?

Or is the answer "Yes"?
Jones has been bad for much longer.

Jones has been one of the most consistent goalies there is since 18-19…….: consistently bad.

.896% (along with 20 games of .898% in the playoffs)

.896%

.896%

.900%

Those are his last four years. It’s astonishing how he was able to maintain .896% for three seasons straight.

Anyway, rooting for the Sens tonight to continue the Rags tailspin....

The tailspin is hilarious, but part of me still wants to see the Rangers somewhat competitive this season and at least within reach of a playoff spot so they can go all-in and trade for someone like Kane and get knocked out in the 1st round or fall just short of the playoffs.

For now though, guess I should just enjoy the losses.

Just catching up on the goals around the league during the 1st intermission of the Sharks/Leafs game.

Two soft goals on Nedeljkovic.

I got a good softy of the night for that second one.

God he sucks. His rookie year was a fluke. I’m sorry I believed in him.

He’s been Scott Darling bad this year.
