That little stretch we thought Blackwood was better than Hart was funny looking back on it
To be fair, Hart's last two years haven't been much better than Blackwood's. They were both solid their first two years and both were bad the last two years. Well, Hart wasn't that bad last year like Blackwood was, he was just barely below average, but his 20-21 was worse than any year Blackwood's had so far. So it was probably a wash.

One guy looks like he's ready to move on from the last two years, while the other guy looks like he's just gonna be same old, same old of the last two years.

I don't think it was as funny as suggesting Blackwood may wind up being better than Shesterkin.

Well Cizikas took out Stalock by crashing in his head. Butch kept arguing against a 5 minute penalty (he wasn’t in the crease) while Burke was the voice of reason (he made no attempt to not plow into his head).

It was amusing because Butch would momentarily feign agreement with Burke then would switch back to his one point about the crease (he ended with saying it should have been 2 minutes lol).

Don’t really care which of those two scum teams wins just no OT

The Sens have taken 9 penalties tonight, are getting outshot 27-9 and are winning 2-1 😂…man imagine the meltdown we’d have over that

It'll be a dual 30+ save shutout for each goalie, like Marty vs the Dominator in 1996 and both goalies will win the Vezina at year's end and Conn Smythe!:sarcasm:

*Insert DD avatar*

Random trivia for the 1996 Brodeur/Hasek shutout, where I think they both had 38 saves a piece?

That was the only shutout Marty had in which Scott Stevens did not play, until Stevens injury (eventually career ending) in 2004. I clearly remember this being a hot topic back in 2005. Especially when Marty started the 2005 portion of 05-06 with 0 shutouts. I think to that point Niedermayer missed one more shutout than Stevens, due to hold outs in 98 and 00. He may have even missed one when he was suspended for whacking Peter Worrell over the head right before the 2000 playoffs started.

Torts absolutely refuses to lose to the Rags. The Rags just can't beat Torts. They haven't beaten him since he coached for Tampa before he was their coach.

Yeah, that's definitely not true. They beat him enough in Columbus.

Vasilevskiy turns the puck over and it's 3-2 Sens moments after Tampa ties it.

Shots are like 29-13 Lightning.

And Tampa ties it again a minute or two later.

I really can't get behind the hype of Ottawa.

As much of a handcuffed figurehead puppet as he may have been when Melnyk was still alive, I can't take Pierre Dorion seriously ever.

I had many laughs and pant wetting over his ''Every player shook my hand this morning, a bunch of them even hugged me'' after he picked up Alexandre Burrows.

You're telling me that players shake the general manager's hand and hug him over acquiring a shithead, no-count, SCUMBAG and (at that point in his career) completely TERRIBLE player that SUCKS at pro hockey? What do they do for the GM when he actually acquires a GOOD and USEFUL player? Get him laid?
