Now it's 7-3, none empty net goals.

Nedeljkovic's only good game this season was against us in the home opener the night Lindy got booed and there were chants for his dismissal. That was also his only win. Headed into tonight with a sexy .890% while their starter sat on the bench with his .926% and 3-1-1 record.

Yet, he's still found a way to appear in almost half of the games and gets blown out of the building tonight in a game his team scored 3 goals in.

Good job Doctor Evil.

Good god, it's 8-3 now. No empty net goals, all 8 on Nedeljkovic.

That's a well deserved L for whoever made that decision tonight for Detroit. The fact that they're still almost splitting (not quite, but almost splitting) starts in Detroit with the disparity between goalies play deserves more even scrutiny than Ruff starting Blackwood in the season opener.

The Dahlin goal is probably softy of the week material. I can't see any of the other goals tonight beating that out for softy of the night.

Dahlin goal was bad but it hit a skate and redirected. Still one you'd want for him to have but it isn't a complete groaner.

Noesen still plays in the NHL.. good for him . I liked him as a Devil but he was so up and down with his play. He’d be a good 4th liner for awhile then play like a AHL scrub

Buffalo has gotten a lot of buy in from its players and Tuch being open about wanting to play there has been instrumental in that. Buy in is critical for small market teams which get so much negative publicity from big markets.

Did you expect their roster to compete all season? They are short on talent and a properly built roster but long in effort and trying to please their coach. As they get tired and hurt they will fade. Hart is on his game which will help a lot but you can only block so many shots before you are playing with a face shield

I did not expect them to compete at all, no. But if you are going to surprisingly win a few games early, it would be nice if you would beat the rags.
