Vas has allowed 2 iffy goals tonight....you can maybe give him a pass there since that puck rolled but the first one was bad

Second one I have no issues with, but need a save on the first one.

Tampa's load is blown if you ask me. I just don't think they have enough to win 2 more in this series.

I'd like to be wrong though.

Thought that was a broken ankle for Cernak for sure. Amazed he got up.

That one on McDonagh wasn’t even close to not being a penalty.

Does McDonagh really have to take that penalty of a player of such little consequence as Darren Helm?

The wheels feel like they could really be coming off.

Tampa has been on life support since game 4.

One more goal against them and they probably flatline.

Rant time. The ESPN/ABC broadcast is beyond awful. On the second Colorado goal Bellemare goes down at the far blue line springing the play, the crowd boos at the no call love, then Colorado scores. Maroon goes nuts over the no call (to the point he should have gotten a penalty itself. Every replay shown immediately after starts after the play in question. It is until after the commercial that we see the proper replay and see it was probably a hook.

The TNT/NBC (I’m putting them together as it is basically the same people) crew would have been on top of it. It was obvious a questionable no call live. How is that not at least the second replay after the goal.

I don’t know on that first goal, it’s a wicked one timer into a small area on a cross ice pass. That he even got the blocker on it was amazing. I think that’s the reason it looked like he should have had it. A lot of goalies don’t get near that shot.

I like goalies who stop the puck

Avs depth scoring comes through again. Lekhonen was such a good pickup for them.
He was a fantastic pick up, he was a really underrated player on the Habs. He’s a volume shooter, and his finishing isn’t so hot, but he gets a ton of pucks on net and his offense is going to flurish on Colorado.

If they keep Nichushkin that gives them a great pair of two-way forwards.

Once again

Strong start to the period by Tampa, but they're already fading just a few minutes in.

The old "we don't want to be the determining factor" on who wins and loses. Hello? By NOT calling what should be called, you're doing JUST THAT.
I get that the refs late in these series want to be sure they don’t call a non-penalty a penalty (the whole better to let a guilt man free than penalize an innocent man thing), but these are just obvious trips and hooks.

We are going to get a laundry list of injuries from them. They’ve played 3 very nasty series this playoffs. It’s catching up with them.

I don't think so. Did Hossa lose 2 in a row on different teams? Or was he on the winning team the second time?
He was on the winning team the 3rd year.
