Benford only out snapped Elam 39-30. Considering I literally didn’t even notice Elam on the field, I guess good job to him?
Yep, i think that's how it works with corners. Don't hear their name? Good sign.

So... Just brushing up on draft picks no longer with the team. Seems like the Colts took Luke Tenuta and Jack Anderson is with NYG. Any other guys from the last two drafts gone? Is Stephenson still around?
Wildhoose and Anderson were signed off the practice squad, so it's not like they necessarily missed on those either. So I did some quick googling and I see the following draft picks are gone since 2019
Cody Ford (traded)
Vosean Joseph
Darryl Johnson (traded)
Jake Fromm
Rachad Wildgoose
Jack Anderson
Matt Araiza
Luke Tenuta
I feel that they're doing ok with their drafting judging from that list. A few misses, but they're finding some hits too, so that's pretty good. Araiza is unfortunate because it was more a character thing than a talent problem.
I love the Bills social media team.
I assume you are talking about that top tweet? If so, how is that trashing Buffalo?OBJ shitting on Buffalo moments after flirting with the fanbase on Twitter is the number one reason we need to stop giving this primadonna attention.
Such a weasel.
Well you're just making guesses now.
No one doubted Allen could throw in any conditions or that he physically could be a great QB.
It was everything else.
But Buffalo had a framework in place to let him learn on a curve and it worked out.
There is no framework that will let Tua get to that point. He is physically in a body that will prevent greatness from happening.
Yeah, and Tenuta got claimed off waivers. Vosean Joseph is playing in the CFL. I think he was a miss. Maybe Fromm? Araiza because of the off-field issues.Wildhoose and Anderson were signed off the practice squad, so it's not like they necessarily missed on those either.
From what I saw in pre-season, Benford if far more physical at the line of scrimmage than Elam. He is better at bumping receivers off their route and also in run support tackling. So I think we see him starting. That said, Elam looks better speed wise at keeping up with receivers downfield. So I can see him coming in alot when the bills are ahead and the opposing offense has to open it up with longer routes.Benford only out snapped Elam 39-30. Josh Allen is a psycholath confirmed:
I don't mind him. He's a bit irritating & i can certainly see why people might hate him. But he is who he is. Announcers have to be flat out terrible to affect my enjoyment & CC isn't quite at that level. The best part of this on-demand? No Collinsworth.![]()
Also, good to see they'll be limiting Miller's snap count to keep him fresh. What a great start for him:

Their content team overall is amazing. From the videos they put together, to even their TikTok. Yes, their Tiktok is really freaking good.
Fromm was signed off the practice squad late last seasonYeah, and Tenuta got claimed off waivers. Vosean Joseph is playing in the CFL. I think he was a miss. Maybe Fromm? Araiza because of the off-field issues.
In that same time they've drafted some significant contributors:
Ed Oliver
Devin Singletary
Dawson Knox
AJ Epenesa
Gabe Davis
Tyler Bass
Dane Jackson
Greg Rousseau
Boogie Basham
Spencer Brown
There are some others like Zack Moss and a lot of depth guys. Plus this past draft class looks like it could have some hits. I think they're holding their own in the draft all things considered.
Id call this a successful rebuild:
Ok. Im going to take a break from posting Bills content for a while. Im just laying in bed, hungover, and hardly functioning off of 5 1/2 hours of sleep. Im too wired right now, haha.
Its the completion percentage that puts it over the top. Lamar and Mahomes are the only guys that could possibly do that right nowWow. Those are pretty normal stats. Kind of surprising it's never been done.
If you would have told me before the game that Elam could go that many snaps without committing a penalty, I would have said no way. The biggest positive was how physical both were in either blowing up the lead blocker or making the tackle themselves when needed. They were very willing combatants out there.Benford only out snapped Elam 39-30. Considering I literally didn’t even notice Elam on the field, I guess good job to him?

I don't think anyone should get too cocky though out of Jackson, Benford, or Elam's performance. All 3 had 2 deep safeties helping out and a ferocious pass rush making their job relatively easy.
One thing I found refreshing is how much press they played. A definite new innovation on the defense I hope we see more of this year. The way they just took ARob out of the game was something else.If you would have told me before the game that Elam could go that many snaps without committing a penalty, I would have said no way. teams that have better O-lines may make it necessaryI mean, this is true. But, what reason would the Bills have to Blitz the rest of the year? Stafford is known to get the ball out fast. Hell, half the league can do it now in under 3 seconds. SO they should have help throughout the year...
