Must watch till the end cuz that 3rd period highlights is a must see. LOL.Thanksgiving Day feast!
Well said on all fronts!I have the AHL Reign package and wathed the game in full ....SJ is a 500 team so take with a grain of salt but this was Turcottes most impressive game as a pro. That pass to spence was a thing of beauty as was his hustle. The book was the %s dont always reflect but the corsi is always high in all areas and that was 100% the case. If he can overcome the bad luck with injuries and maybe play a bit safer going into traffic areas he can be a solid two way player. Think JAD with better decision making and overall better skill.
Byfield with 3 assists and he is starting to look like a man among buys with the size and puck confidence. Can get a little too cute at times but thats the skill level and confidence building which is a good thing.
Other thoughts...
Spence and Bjornfot should be both be on the Kings. Spence at a minimum. Note Bjornfot was wearing the A...never a bad sign. Still funny that Bjornfot is younger than Spence by two months. They are the top D pair and logging tons of minutes....they are better than any other current kings pairing apart from Doughty/Anderson.
Fagemos game is identical to Arviddsons with the shot first mentality. Really think Blake should move Durzi and Arvidson for a LHD. Fagemo could slot into that line and not miss a beat....my opinion anyhow.
Chromiak is going to be a player....puck handling skills galore and he back checked to break up a two on one that was executed perfectly; hustling from behind and making a perfect stick check to swipe the puck away from the attacker. That effort and compete level probably doesnt go unnoticed.
Maybe a bit misleading as SJ in an average team and maybe an off night but Kings brass had to be elated at the play from prospects last night.

Bjornfot and Spence were paired together a couple shifts last season in the NHL and looked really good together. Very fluid and and in sync. Maybe theres a second pairing there in the future.
The cross seam pass for Björnfots goal was outstanding. A great read and pass.Chromiak is going to be a player....puck handling skills galore and he back checked to break up a two on one that was executed perfectly; hustling from behind and making a perfect stick check to swipe the puck away from the attacker. He did the same thing in his short stint on the Kings last season but his line mates couldn’t finish..I don't want to poopoo it because I agree but he telegraphed the everliving shit out of it for like 5 seconds haha
Like a QB staring down his one read the entire time
But it's beautiful to see so early in his career, he fits right in with the high-skill guys and is showing a motor that will see him thru to the pro game.

he has a knack of threading the needle with his passes and will get his point now that he’s playing with some finishers.
I’ve been wondering for a second now about whether or not it be in his and the Kings best interest to bring him up to the Kings if he continues rounding out his game.. what I mean by that is, maybe it be best for him to finish the year with the Kings instead of running a very, very serious risk of some old, veteran AHL shitbox taking another likely run at him and his noggin
Well f*** RJ, just shut me down why don’t ya!! LolI was actually talking about Chromiak
Which made the timing all the more impressive as the D had time to setI don't want to poopoo it because I agree but he telegraphed the everliving shit out of it for like 5 seconds haha
Another lost year of development? He’s going to get passed by guys like Pinelli. I’d say if he makes it it’s somewhere else unfortunately.Thomas was just starting to look good too, it’s such a shame. He still has a future IMO, it’s just a harder road than you’d hope.
