Parise isn't 100% He'll tough it out but he needs the summer to heal from all his foot issues.

This team could have used Byfuglien over Faulk.

Also, Immonen really isn't that bad. He was a fine Ranger and I still don't get the footspeed thing. Never will.

Don't know what the general consensus on this board is, but holy ****, Quick is awful today.

Goal one is completely on him. A backhander from the faceoff dot... are you serious?

Goal two. McDonagh made a **** read, for sure. But it was a 2 on 2. Quick was WAY too far out of the net, as usual, and got NO push from right to left. Pitiful.

Goal three. Screen. Whatever.

What a bunch of losers on this team. And to make sure, I'm not just mad at only Quick here. Hard to be mad at only your goalie when you haven't scored a goal in 120+ minutes. But this post is purely observations on Quick's game, today.

The exclusion of Bobby Ryan isn't really the hilarious irony as much as the large majority of USA fans at the beginning of this tournament talking about how much legit scoring threat this team has, and they'll have no problem scoring goals.

Which was true, against nobodies.

Bobby Ryan must be having the biggest case of schadenfreude ever right now. Will probably send a hand written letter to Burke that says "I-N-T-E-N-S-I-T-Y."

Anybody think a decent NHL team would destroy any of these teams? Color me unimpressed with the hockey in this tournament. Such a collection of individuals. Hockey is a team game.

yeah, the emotionless, unprepared, unable-to-use-elite-talent, Dan Bylsma...
