Yeah, and while his goals and pts might not stand out that much, he has scored a mad percentage of all Swedish goals. I think he has as many goals as all top 2 line forward combined.

At least 4 of Sweden's top 6 Ds aren't playing in this Tournament, and none is injured.

Mårts put in Chi's 2nd pairing, Hjalmarsson-Oduya, and Detroit's 1st pairing, Kronwall-Ericsson, instead. Hedman has been excellent this year. No OEL, Hedman, Enström and so forth.

MÃ¥rts play a man-man defense. The Chi and Det D's are more used to that than the other D's. Edler is doing real well instantly for us, after having played a lot of man-man for AV in Vancouver. He has just clearly been much better than OEL.

Agreed....it doesn't seem to be the worst coaching move. Although I still hate them not taking Hedman.

The reason for it was good and showed coaching skill though imo.
