Last report I heard was he was staying home with his sick mum , that's the personal reasons he didn't report to camp over and the league allowed us to claim it as LTIR . Yeah I couldn't agree with you more , I expect a pretty steep ramp up for him to get back to NHL speed . But hey Fingers crossed eh .I can't honestly believe he'll be able to just slide right in and be the man after taking a year off. Just can't see it. Would love to be wrong though.

I only wish we could slide his contract since he never even reported. I don't have issues with him staying away, just kinda feels sucky to burn half his bridge deal when he didn't even do camp
It could be as simple as finding new meds as some can cause false positives.
