They can send him to Laval in December.they will probably keep him with the Habs for one more year. I can also see Roy joining the Habs very soon.

Would have had two assists. He's a NHLer the question is what will be best for his offensive development.
He is a rookie on a very struggling team, if you watch him closely, he is playing good and making good decisions. He just needs time to get used to the high speed, it is the same story as we had with Slaf. Give him 10-15 more games and we will see. People do not like him, because he plays 4th line and he is not physical, but honestly he is better than Newhook.

He's not an NHL player right now, it's not two nice plays out of 12 games that prove that. He needs to go down and hone his craft and there's nothing wrong with that, he's going to be very useful.

He played 7 minutes last night, miss me with that.

I think he just needs time to adapt. When I watch him, I often see his execution is 0,2s late, but he is in the game. Most of the time he is in the right place. There are just too many new things for him:
- high pace league
- smaller rink
- he played W most of the games
- new linemates every single game
- obviously life in NHL and Montreal
- whole team sucks

Typical surviving vs thriving. Send him down, there's no rush.

Why do we need him here?

Unfortunately, this fits half of the team :(
We do not need him now & here, but he will need this experience to be better next season and we know we will need him next season once Dvorak, maybe Evans are gone. How many new centers do we want to start with next season? We need some continuity, he can be 4C now and move to 3C next year.

Most impressive part is he would've had 2 assists, while playing less than 8 minutes.

I don't have a problem with him being eased in and having his minutes increased as the season goes on, but if he's going to keep playing 8-10 minutes a game then maybe going back to Europe might be best for his offensive development.
