It also lets you have a legit 2nd line in Kane-Nuge-Hyman.

3rd line is doing a little better but still awful.
2nd line also getting run over.
1st line is good.

I’ve been saying it for years- Hopkins is not a centre or a quality 5v5 player. He is a complimentary winger who can play special teams.

Yeah I disagree they can play some games. So far he’s never kept them together for more than 2-3 games which is fine. Long term it’s clear he likes to keep them apart.
