GDT: Okay, so we won a game. Big whoop

  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. I’ve just about had it with these guys, a minute ago they had the goalie making a save on an Aho shot that was a foot off the net. Jarvis fires a shot from 8 feet out into the goalies chest and it’s how wonderful he was to get in that position. This week my pet peeve is that after any face off they continue to chat with each other about whatever inane topic they are going on for about for about 30 seconds before getting to the hockey game going on in front of them.

The kicker is that RBA thinks that they've played great in Nov per the pre-game so maybe in their minds.. life is good. If that's the feedback that you're getting from your boss...how many of us question it?

Believe me, the production truck has tried to keep them on-topic, but Tripp is going to Tripp and Mike is still too green to interrupt him.

This is what I don't get. He goes after them for playing like absolute donkey against Minnesota, the play doesn't really improve at all since that game, and now he's saying that we had a good month and the bounces just aren't going our way?

Yeah I'm sorry, you have to create your own bounces. When you're consistently missing the mark badly on shot placement, its not about the bounces. We have a team that cannot consistently pick a corner with their shot. They've never shown an ability to do this and at this point you have to admit that the players we have will never be able to do that. Its not in their skill set.

Patches isn't fixing everything. Patches will help out one line, and that'll happen to be the one line that the opponents target with their defensive shutdown lines and we're still going to be struggling because we don't have a single player who can consistently score. The evidence right now is overwhelming, and its been overwhelming since the All Star Break last year.

Hey any of you guys know how many games Martinook has played in?
 
This team needs a shakeup in the same way it needed the Neiderriter trade in 2018. The results right now are not good enough and they would really benefit from a trade.

It’s really good. Not what I expected but now I’ll be anxiously awaiting season 2.

I’ll have to go back and watch their first series, Dark. Started it when it first came out but my wife doesn’t like subtitled shows so it became hard to find the time to watch it.

I started Dark really liked it, I need to go back and finish it.

He is looking a bit shellshocked and appears to be a little overwhelmed by the state of things as well if you ask me. So maybe he's trying to buy them time until they can all figure it out?
