yeah-- I am not a Zepp fan either. IT has mostly how the ripped off Willie Dixon so badly and then played dumb over ripping off his stuff and other blues artists
Jimmy Bob and John John. What you got to say is only one side of the coin. What they did with that shyte was new back then. You might say they pushed heavy metal in the direction it eventually took.

Unless Arvidsson is like dead, Drai has to figure something out with him at least and then you can keep Podkolzin there hopefully. Do a voodoo ritual, sacrifice a goat on a mountain, I don't give a f***, get it working.

We can't have that many players wash out of the top 6.
I could see Kapanen slowing down and getting replaced by arvidsson but if Kapanen stays hot I don’t see the issue.

My favourite part about that is how obscure that fact is. So obsessed, what a lifewaste
Little bro syndrome obsession. Like how that Flames podcast figured out the exact offer sheet vulnerabilities of the Oilers. And how there’s a thread on the mains by a flames fan trying to figure out what Skinners extension will be in TWO years from now. And another thread by a Flames fan wondering how to get McDavid to leave.

These clowns can’t do anything but obsess about the Oilers.

Good news at least.
Hartman has a history of playing like a sneaky dirty little bitch. He's lucky Kaner wasn't playing. Should be worth a suspension for that nonsense of a hit especially with that much time remaining in the game.
Yes good news for sure and I agree with you...it was a dirty hit.
One of the issues with this team is there there are precious few players that have the ability to hold a player like Hartman to account.

I think they will figure it out. Too much talent not to. Skinner has probably had to change his game the most but he’s getting there imo.

When we’re healthy I kind of want to see Kane replace Nuge on the top line. Then run a Nuge, Arvidsson, Skinner 3rd line.

I don't trust that line enough with Skinner on it. Skinner needs to stay with defensive players like brown and henrique.

I would rather have Janmark, Nuge and arvidson on a line.

I don't like the zero response on Hartman. This team should've responded hard and swiftly; especially in a blowout game where you know that shit was deliberately trying to injure, but it seems that bite has been purposely coached out of them.

Also kinda funny how the "teh Oilers are a SLOW team now!" crowd has magically gone dead silent on that.

"Slow" team that also somehow gets multiple odd man rushes almost every game.

Kapanen has 3 points in 9 games since joining the Oilers vs. 5 points in 16 games for Arvidsson. It's not like Kapanen is forcing anyones hand to stay in the top 6. I still think he and Draisaitl were showing quite a bit of chemistry right before he got hurt. Those 5 points did come in his last 9 games after going pointless in the first 7.

The whole team was massively out of sync the first 10 games really anyway.

Jumping down the throats of new players trying to adjust to a new situation when even players like McDavid were sleepwalking out there was never fair to begin with especially when you're comparing them to players who had been here for like 2-3 years and had the benefit of building chemistry here for years.

I will say some of the older guys like Janmark, Brown, and Henrique do look to be skating a lot better than to start the year. Adding Kapanen was a boost in speed. But overall this was never a slow team, they just weren't moving their feet and were passing the puck around like a grenade to start the year so they looked slow. You can always move a puck much quicker than you can skate with it (unless you're McDavid). The new D group is now doing exactly what I thought they'd do which is moving pucks up quick and spending a lot less time defending. It's why I loved that Vinny and Ceci weren't back this year.

Kane coming back will be huge in that area. He brings a violent swagger with him. When he starts bringing the heat I find the team tends to follow.

The dumbest thread is the mcDAVId FInALLy ReGREssING by far.
Remind me again why I even bothered to check the mains. Bunch of morons in that area.

Oh totally. Hard to evaluate Arvidsson anyways because all the forwards were not producing at the time.
