Sorry, I missed all this earlier chat about rangers.

i was immersed in reading this latest novel. It’s a page turner.

Oilers vs Rangers on Friday

Another type of Ranger? The Ford Ranger.

And from Ford, the inventor Henry.

Now what else was Henry Ford known for? That's right, assembly lines.

View attachment 651603

Now where do you find lines similar to the above? Yep - at airport security. And what else do they check for at airport security? Metal.

View attachment 651606

Metal does what? Conduct electricity. Electricity like a lightning bolt.

Now Usain Bolt was considered by some as fast as a lightning bolt. But before him came Carl Lewis.

And did Carl have a son? You bet he did. In fact, many over the years have called him Carl's son.

Now do you think this is just a coincidence?

Why should we?

The man laid an absolute ostrich egg last time.

Skinner wasn’t good in Montreal but the team was stupendously bad. Can’t say the same in Campbell’s last game.
Skinner 1W in last 7, also only has 4 wins on the season against playoff teams.

Campbell 9-0-1 in last 10

Seeing Calgary in such disarray is cathartic.

Walsh really is a prick though. He's going to end up screwing Calgary over at some point. With a NMC for Huberdeau they are going to end up having to retain on the guy and trade him to a hand picked team for nothing.

Hate NMC to begin with especially when it's a guy that the team has no history with, but then you add Walsh to the mix and it's a death wish.

If their GM had not thrown out extensions everywhere in the offseason, they could've had some extremely enticing pieces for the TDL instead of being trapped in several terrible deals.
Weegar and Huberdeau at 50% off would've given them some damn good assets one would have to think.

Oh definitely.

And for that reason I hope everyone that Treliving interacts with has Walsh as their agent.

Exactly. I understood why they were extended but it could've really hastened a possible rebuild instead of dooming themselves to perpetual mediocrity.
I guess similar to Vancouver, Calgary ownership seems to want to avoid a rebuild.

And you know I get that, but then you need to make an adjustment with your coach. I said this the other day in the Elks thread, coaches need to stop coaching to the way they want the team to play. They need to coach to the strengths of the roster. Coaching a way the team physically can't play is never going to work.
