It doesn't look like they sold many tickets for that. Either way that seems like an easy event to reschedule to Saturday like they did with the wnba game
I think we had two weeks for the WNBA game to get rescheduled. Would be pretty short notice as they'd almost undoubtedly have to give people affordances for refunds and whatnot.

Whoops, I thought we were referring to playing *today*

Weird to see Canuck fans still talk about our 16 game win streak.

They still have no clue what 16 wins looks like.
well since the 2010 season the canucks have won 20 playoff games.....but if you forward that 1 season they have exactly 5 in 15 years.

safe to say they know a thing or 2 about winning

**edit math might be off but still lol canucks

Not sure what you're looking at but it's only 17 wins. 10 of those came in the bubble.

Though Edmonton has 20 wins over that same stretch.

I have a 9 year old son and I can't imagine sending him to school with kids like this the same age. The amount of gangs and crime in Vancouver and its suburbs - bacon brothers, independent soilders, United Nations, brothers keepers.

All of them recruit and radicalized young kids like this. Really pathetic stuff.

Worst part of that video isn't the poor kid screaming and swearing. It's the 50 MEN cheering him on and encouraging it.

Vancouver is a wonderful place to take a vacation and visit for a few days. But to actually live there with the down right punitive cost of living? Absolutely not.

I have plenty of professional friends 3000sqft homes already paid off and 20-30 minute commutes downtown.

Just checked the temp it's 13 in Vancouver and 12 here so there is that "better weather" they got going I guess.

Last time I went was January last year. I was told that the "weather was great" - it was around 5 degrees each day, overcast and misty. It felt as cold as the weather in Edmonton with the crazy humidity and the lack of sun was depressing (one day out of 10 had some sun).

The tourtisty stuff was cool enough and the food was good (guess it helps having 10 restaurants on any given block vs a couple per block here aside from downtown and Whyte), but it was stupid expensive and ended up dodging more sketchy tent cities than here (not like it's not terrible here, but it is everywhere now). Took in a game as a 'neutral', which was interesting. It was the Hawks in town, they were winning and then the Canuckles came back to win. The atmosphere in the arena was weird, couldn't quite put my finger on it but it seemed like a lot of anger.

Anyhow, money being equal there are plenty other cities in the world I'd rather live (you could live like a king dollar for dollar in much nicer cities with "better" weather).

Guys, it takes 16 wins to win a cup. Vancouver hasn't won a Cup.

Do the math.

What is all this embellishment talk lol!

Dont lump us in with that bullshit.

It's really quite funny to see Vancouver lobbying about penalties when they are 4th overall in the league over the last 3 years for net penalties (i.e amount drawn - amount taken) but Edmonton is way down at 25th.

Trim it up to just this current season, Vancouver drops a little to 9th, but so does Edmonton to 27th.

PP time on ice... Vancouver is 9th this year. Edmonton 31st....

Now I know people will jump to the idea that Edmonton scores a lot influencing that time on ice, which is somewhat true as they are 19th in Penalties drawn.

However, it's also influenced by them having the 2nd most penalties called against while on the PP (25) which also reduces the time. They also draw a reasonable amount on their PK and all it adds up to 41 instances where Edmonton's PP was shortened due to a penalty of their own either before drawing a penalty or while on the PP. That's 4th overall in the league. 41 is a significant number since the number shortened due to goals isn't all that much higher at 64.

I'm not going to diss the Canuck fan base. I'm friends with a few hardcore Vancouver fans that are equally as passionate as any other Canadian fan base. Also, I'm old enough to remember Edmonton rioting plenty of times.

I remember when Edmonton traded Doug Weight on Canada Day and that caused a massive riot on Whyte Ave. Police cars flipped upside down. Fighting everywhere. Burn piles in the middle of the road. Tons of vandalism. I remember Edmonton ended up on USA MSM literally stating, "This is how Canadians celebrate the birth of thier Country."

Back in 2006, there were numerous riots on Whyte Ave again.

Let's also not forget that after Gretz was traded, Pocklington was nabbed and shot in the ass. Literally.

My point is, all Canadian hockey fans are extremely passionate!

I generally search X for fight highlights of all the fights at the Moss-Pit after every playoff game.

Let's not think our shit smells like slow-cooked ribs!

Zadorov ain't shit... McD is going to fly by him with ease again. Same with Myers. Canucks don't have any elite shutdown dmen who they can count on to shut down McDavid and Draisaitl. It's going to have to be a group effort for them. Doesn't McDavid have the most points against the Canucks than any other franchise in his career?
