Any word yet on when this series is starting? Seems pretty amateurish from the NHL to still not know the date...

Why are Vancouver fans convinced Zadorov is going to spank McD? Did he light up a lot of Nashville guys?
Yeah, it’s very odd that Zadorov is their supposed x-factor.

Really weird way of tweeting that too (unnecessary detail). Did they discuss how many times they shake their wee wees after a piss too?
No, they just shake each others wee wees for each other after a piss, so they already know how many times.

I like that McDavid said that Vancouver is a Great team and that the Oilers are a good team.

I would like to see the players and even the coaches go more old school with the pre series chatter.
Talk about how the Canucks are the Pacific Division champs and how they beat the Oilers in all 4 games in the regular season so clealry the Canucks are the favorite in this series. :D

If you look at both arena's schedules, it looks like Tues and Thurs in Van, and Sat here make the most sense for the first three games. But we are a slave to the US networks, so we await their final say.

Interesting to note that Ticketmaster already had May 5th as the date for game 7 of the Preds series.

So there is arena availability for Sunday but surely the NHL wouldnt announce a schedule 24 hours before game time so (seeing that Pearl Jam is playing Rogers Arena on Monday) if I was to bet then Tuesday would be the likely starting date.

All that being said...this is the NHL we are talking about here so who knows.

Some people worried about Cam too. lol. If the OIlers play to their potential, it won't matter which goalie will take 5-6 pucks out of his net.
I don't know if Demko will play in the series but if he does then I will worry more about him than I would Cam who is just not in the same category.

But agreed that if Oilers can play their game then shouldn't be a problem. Let's see how they come out of the gate on Tuesday.

He has more common sense and cunning than some of the idiots who are always underestimating the opposition. Never give the other side any added incentive. Let them think that you are the underdog and then bite hard and deep.

I hope Demko does play. Hearing the inevitable excuses after would irritating.

What’s the latest word on Demko and DeSmith anyways?
I think both are considered game day decisions but DeSmith is apparently almost ready to go.

Yuck main boards are just delusional bipolar garbage. Every post loaded with arrogance and cope. Who knows what will happen but Van fans on here are obviously very worried. Scared of unbiased reffing lolol
Perhaps someone from this site can put together a graphic with a large male lion in an Oiler uniform and a zebra in a Canuck sweater. They'll get the picture.

If this series starts on Tuesday, we will have game 4 (likely Monday) after a figure skating event at Rogers Place (Sunday). Too bad we don’t start on Sunday. That way game 4 can be Saturday and game 6 can be on Wednesday a three day break for our ice to recover better.

This series might be as fun as the whooping we laid on the Flames in 22. Can’t wait for the regular season Nucks to find out what playoff hockey actually looks like.

The NHL not having the schedule out is insane... where does one apply for the position... Whoever they have must have a flip phone

Canucks: Stop diving and the officiating will be fine for you.

I would think they are using Blackberries.
