So according to Capfreindly.com the Oilers (Campbell and Skinner) are using 7.7% of the Cap on goaltending.

In comparison...
Toronto is using 5.2% of the cap.
Colorado is using 5.0%
Boston is using 10.1%
Tampa (Vasilevsky and Johansson) is using 12.3%
Vegas is using 6.8%

If the Oilers had an actual legit #1 goalie then this wouldnt be an issue. The fact that 7.7% of the cap is being used and there is still a need for a #1 goalie is a major problem. Especially when you couple that with what @bone posted about the 3 top salaries and the fact that takes up 26.3% of the cap.
So thats 34% of the cap used up and it doesnt include a #1 goalie.
To top off all of that the team cant seem to figure out how to play consistent defence and at least protect their goalie a little.
Thats a major problem and Holland has provided little evidence to suggest that he has the creativity to solve this problem.
