Well McDavid has shown that he can play with slow skaters before, if he can turn Maroon into a 27 goal scorer, the sky is the limit for a former 50 goal Scorey Perry.

Although I don't anticipate him playing higher than the third line potentially.

Last season the Vegas Golden Knights had 15 players on their roster who were .40 pts per game or better in the regular season and a big part of why they won the cup was their depth throughout the lineup.


This year the Oilers currently have 10 players above .40.. and ,now that Perry has been added he's the 11th above .40.

Oilers still need more solid depth in the bottom 6 imo but Perry was a big piece to add.

I'd still like to see the Oilers add another piece or two at the deadline to bolser that depth even more.

This is truly an all-in year with the way the team has rebounded from the early season depths and are now rolling.

Hopefully Holland has another 1 or 2 nice pieces in mind and is working the phones to see what's available,

I think this 13 game win streak helps show vets around the league that this team is for real again and is as good a place as any to shoot for a cup. This streak couldn't have come at a better time... leading into the coming trading deadline period.

In the rumour thread, someone posted a Spector tweet saying he should be on the ice for practise this morning. If he’s been skating and staying in shape, I think he’ll be in against Chicago, if not Columbus.
