Great comeback by Kane, guy is clutch when he's on and it's nice to see him having success after a very trying calendar year.

Everyone complains about Bouchard all game, and he was fighting it at times, but he gets the ice time because he's a gamebreaker back there - both positively, and sometimes negatively. Think he played the majority of that OT too, something we usually only see from Mcdavid/Drai.

Speaking of which, really hope Mcdavid heals up soon. We are starting to flashes of his gamebreaking talent which is more than what we were seeing a few weeks ago, but something is still so very wrong.

The flack he gets is hilarious reminds me of the 80 oilers call-in show and people crying about Coffey defensive play as well he is a huge offensive weapon who is not even close to peaking , the defense will come better and better with age
Well come on, if he has to get 3 or 4 points to break even that isn't really a recipe for success. Not to mention the 2 or 3 other giveaways that the Kracken didn't score on. I like his offence but please someone teach this guy how to play D.

I had a feeling we’d win this game. Something just feels right about this Knob era I dunno. Maybe I’m just delusional.

Wasn’t the perfect game, our D made some dumb mistakes but the Oilers stuck through it till the end like they did in NYI and eventually our patience paid off and we broke through.

- Dont think you can find a better game to define Bouch’s game at this point of his career. Shitty mistakes and elite natural offensive instincts all wrapped up into one game.

- Can Kane slander stop now? Once again he shows up huge right when the haters start beaking about his game.

- Skinner was great tonight. Solid on the easy ones, surprisingly good on the hard ones. Bad bounces hurt the optics a bit tonight, but he played great.

- McDrai have chemistry that is out of this world. They are the most dangerous weapon in this League when put together and have proven this. I don’t think putting McDrai together is an issue, it’s a weapon and we should use it. If anything Knob using them for specialized reasons shows that any coach would probably use this weapon if they had it. Ultimately, the Oilers will be strongest with them seperated and running their own lines, but we should still use that weapon when we need it.

- I BELIEVE IN THE KNOB.

Looking at the replay of the goal that tied it, and what a play by Drai. He makes a one-touch pass perfectly to Kane through a defenders legs. The pass to set up McDavid on his goal was immaculate. The guy is such a brilliant playmaker.

McDavid, Drai and Hyman all finish with a +3; Kane a +2. McDavid seems to be coming around to me, even if he's not quite yet 100%.
Who in the league even makes that pass on a one tough. Good for being one of the few to notice what kind of gold that play was. Or the pass to the streaking McD. Oilers fans take those kind of plays for granted while talking about how bad Drai is playing (not you)

He's so bipolar. His lazy board play created numerous chances for the Kraken and they cashed in twice. But then he creates numerous goals with his passes and offensive vision. Theoretically, Coffey is the coach you want in his ear over the long-term to help #2 create more goals for the Oilers than their opponents.
He played 24 minutes or so, was +2 and had 3 assists. Not bad on that stat sheet, but when you watch him play it's a love hate thing.

We have talented with the puck D men on this team. All of Ekholm, Nurse, Broberg are better than many of the wingers on this team with the puck. Its an interesting thing, and frankly Booch created the setup to the goal with sexy puck handling on the line. I bet nobody called Booch could wave the puck around on his stick like that, and I was scared, but he created that whole OT goal play. He walked Kraken at the line, got them out position, and made them look silly.

f*** Kraken, f*** Adam Larsson. f*** Yamamoto you little squirrel
Lol poor yammo. So much hatred for the little guy.

Its no great shakes when you're giving up 3 goals to teams that have nightmares trying to score. This not even counting the again horrid puck movement of Skinner in this game. So mindblowingly bad with the puck he should never touch it.

Seattle has averaged 2.5 goals per game for a supposed "team that has nightmares trying to score".

Again, people see what they want to see.

Never over till its over. With that mind blowingly dumb play by Larsson on the opening goal it was just poetic that Kraken HAD to lose this game. Wouldn't be right if they didn't. Now all is right with the universe again, Kraken suck shit, f*** you Larsson again.

This was such an important 2 points going on this 4 game trip. Hope they can get at least 5 of 8 points.

A fortunate victory but I'll take it.

I also thought that Kane looked like Lucic early in the season but after that bit of controversy when he got called out he's been much improved.

Lavoie wasn't as lost tonight as the first few games he played. Could have scored in that first period.

Mc-D starting to return to form.
