GDT: oilers night 2025 - maybe playing another supposedly good slumping team will make our supposedly good slumping team acquire a winning streak

  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. The admin team will continue to work on existing issues, templates and upgrade all necessary available addons to minimize impact of this new version. Click Here for Updates
  • We're expecting server maintenance on March 3rd starting at midnight, there may be downtime during the work.
That's probably game. They'll be lucky to score one tonight. More points pissed away.

I hate this motherf***er was right. I really do.

Again though, 36 f***ing shots on Calvin Pickard. 1 f***ing goal. 1! This is so f***ing infuriating. This style of play if they don't score fast and often, quite frankly f***ing sucks and is f***ing boring and predictable. But nothing changes. It gets chalked up to "had the chances couldn't convert" or "tip your cap to the opposing goalie". I for one am getting tired of tipping my cap to the opposing goalie especially when that goalie will probably give up 3 or 4 in his next start.

There is so much potential for this team to be dominant and fun to watch, but they play a style that quite frankly makes things more difficult than they need to be. f***ing shit sucks, and I'm tired of the higher-ups ignoring it.

watched on delay.

bad: burnzzzzzzzz, #FreeJarvis
good: SARs lline findng chemistry (but should be on the ice more); Zilla

I care less about wins in this stretch than how we're playing. Once again we get our teeth kicked in to begin and the PP sucks for the majority of the game.

But ehhh, the loss whatever.

It's really baffling to have this kind of talent be so ineffective at putting the puck in the net. We have 6 players that have put up 30+ goals in a season. Yet this year, they're all just "off." They're in the right places to score, but the puck isn't falling for them. I'm not sure what can be done about that.
I agree. I do feel we are obviously a few offensive pieces away, but how much of it do you think are the line combos?

Curious to hear your thoughts on what you'd do with the lines.
