He was a little under rated by oiler fans to be honest. Was he the guy to take us to the promise land, answer still no.

More of a sarcastic comment from me on how Pitts fans have had Lemieux/Jagr and then just years later Crosby/Malkin but in the short term interim the support dropped like mad. The NHL has gifted this franchise success. Also considering the circumstance of the Crosby lottery.

I know the Pens are not what they used to be but to utterly dominate them like that is odd. Sometime in the 3rd the camera cut away to Sid looking blankly into space like he knows any glimmer of hope of the old core making a run are toast. Then they cut away to Malkin who was doing the same thing.

Yeah shocking how empty it was in there tonight. Absurd given they really aren't even that bad and... McDrai?

Idk. Most of our games have above average attendance.

I’m going to weigh in here because I was Koskinen hater for most of the time he was here.

He was adequate in the regular season to be a 2a to our other 2a. Smith was the guy that when he got hot could’ve have gotten us to the promise land.. much like Campbell who I will speak on below though he probably would have needed everything to go right.

Campbell could win us a cup by getting hot and everything going right. But he could never steal a series IMO. He’s a good 1a but extremely streaky and has been his whole career.

Skinner is young and still developing but he is capable of stealing a game as we have seen. He might be capable of getting the job done time will tell.

We broke them early. Complete domino. They couldn't keep up all night and it got worse when they started to feel bad.

I was trying to go back to first period to see if fans were there and left and it did seem like some did but a lot didn't show. What a loyal fanbase. Kind of amazingly dumb that jeff carter went there to be on a contender. Good for us and Pacific division anyway. I wouldn't want him still in LA.

But just shut the lights out. McD, Drai, Nuge, Hyman etc in town to Face Crosby, Malkin etal and people don't even show up for this? Throw in your fan cards. just ridiculous.
