Too many forwards are seeing their numbers fall off. I also don't think they're working hard enough to get to the dirty areas. They basically slept through two periods last night and decided to only try in the third (something that they've done all too often to no success).
as for Adin Hill, he's just another Cam Ward. A goalie that got hot at the right time. Funny enough Adin Hill's regular season statline for his career is pretty close to Skinner's. 2.68 GAA, .909sv%. Skinner's are 2.72 GAA and .907sv%
You want to compare playoffs too?
Hill's numbers are supressed by a chunk of his career on bad teams in San Jose and Arizona.
On no planet is Skinner an equal of Adin Hill. Hill is clearly better.
Stuart Skinner's contemporaries are David Riitich, Mikko Koskinen, Alex Georgeiv ... that's the class of goalie he is.
Nothing even wrong with that, for there to be top end and mid-tier goalies, someone has to fill the roles below that, not everyone can be that good, if everyone was good then no one is good.
