As much as the non call on Kane was bullshit, this team has been mentally weak for years.

It will be very hard for this team (or any team) to tie 22+ mil in three centers unless they start to get some value contracts elsewhere. This is where the lack of farm hurts.

You really just have to take a chance and perhaps look at some journeyman C to fill that role on cheap 1 year deals until the farm fills up. Either guys like Sam Steel or Lars Eller.

We saw the this organization do this from 2007 to 2010 until Malhotra dropped into our laps.

Yeah, it's going to be hard to get a read on this team until about the 20~ game mark. Hockey is too ****ing random to make conclusions too early into the season.

(Except Kuzmenko being a stud. I have no doubt in my mind of that).

it's not specifically the 3 on 1, every goal has been scored the exact same way

When we've looked ok it's basically when the forwards are possessing it or pressuring the puck up ice. We aren't even getting much carry through the neutral zone by any D unless it's Hughes.

Cross crease is when the D can't lean on the forwards as much.
