Sickens me really that Bettman NHL has Carolina, Florida, Tampa, Vegas, Dallas names on cup. Lord Stanleys Trophy that was given to Canada that Canadian teams haven't won since 93. If the NHL lasts another 50yrs people will wonder about these names on the cup and Mexico City and all these have hockey teams. (I'm predicting the future)

Kind of unfair to Ekholm who is a boss almost always. I like Nurse, I usually have, but he's had this elevation in his game thats noticeable after being not so good for awhile. Ekholm has been nothing but a boss here since arriving. Could stand to be corrected on this but I think Ekholm has the hardest minutes.

If the eastern media didn't go to sleep in their Laffs pj's before the Oil played their games and weren't lazy AF that they relied on bullshit narratives....Drai would be legit considered for the Hart and Selke and Nurse would be at least top-10 in Norris consideration.
But alas they both are products of McDavid and not very good. Narratives that lazy f***s like Friedman continue to espouse.

All these Eastern Analysts are frauds. I've heard so many admit that they are in bed by the time Oilers games are on TV. And yet they'll sit there, and make definitive statements on what the Oilers need to or not need to do, how good they are, how bad they are etc. O-Slob suggested we trade Bouchard beginning of last year for Rookie Goalie Askarov like the moron that he is. As if we get to Game 7 without Bouch and some unproven rookie in net.

Knows how to score. Helpful once in awhile. Still one of the guys though that has a pretty limited roll and could be replaced. Good guy to have around though if we need injury replacement and he can play up and down. has the skill if not the pace.
