This team will still lose first round with this level goaltending. It’s sad to say that Mike Smith and Koskinen gave this team more reliable goaltending but it’s true. They atleast were streaky and could shut it down. Skinner is just always below average

Maybe if Skinner could make an actual save when it matters.
Right? The Oilers did all they could do to prevent even one scoring chance to get near Skinner then the moment Vegas gets a few chances after what seemed like an hour of getting nothing, Skinner crumbles.

I'm a fan of his but his confidence is in the shitter and the Oilers can't afford to play a development goalie as a #1 right now.

Refs did their very best to get Gary and Vegas the win.


Oilers prevailed.

3 wins in a row is much better than 3 losses in a row.

I like this version of the Oilers that goes hard for (close to) 60 minutes.

This version can compete with any team in the league.

Their level of effort at both ends of the ice has been much better and more consistent recently.
