Keefe putting out Tavares against McDavid, threw a point away unfortunately.

I don't have a huge problem with Tavares and Nylander starting OT. Hell they almost scored right off the bat. Tavares had matched against McDavid all night long at even strength and had done well

Asking Tavares to cover McDavid in OT burned Keefe, though they got the first chance. I agree with having Holl out there though.

Nylander's good shift/bad shift inconsistency is stark. Made some really strong plays sometimes, then you see him coast into the boards other times.

I'm ok with Nylander and JT starting OT against just about any other team. Not against a team with McDavid and Draisaitl.

Would have started Matthews and Marner. But you can’t complain about starting Tavares and Nylander either.

If Nylander scores on his chance, no one complains about the decision.

Leafs looked tired for the first half but picked it up in the second half. Thought the third period was fairly responsible and they got a point of it.

7-2-1 is a great start. The Leafs now have a few days to rest and practice on those kinks.

Ehh should have played Matthews Marner vs Mcdavid Draisaitl. I'll take the point though down 3-1 we battled.

It’s too bad the Leafs didn’t have a little more of that comeback fire after they made it 3-3. Finish the job.

It is too bad, but they had some good chances and Koskinen made a 5-star save on Marner. I thought they were the better team from the 2nd period onwards. Not going to win every game, so learn the lessons that they can and be happy with 7/8 points in Alberta.
